Turlagh picks up one of the journals and one of the pieces of paper.
"This book is a record of my travels. I will not falsify the things I've seen and done, though I might exaggerate for the sake of a good story. I won't use this book or the power it gives me to intentionally endanger my fellow Walkers or anyone else, and if I fail in this, let the pages shrivel and die like my worthless honor."
Turlagh pauses before saying
"Always did love a good story..heh"

Arenia holds the book aloft and recites the oath, watching as her Travelogue becomes magically inscribed with her name in the lower right-hand corner of the cover. "Always did love gifts with a personal touch to them," she remarks with a bit of a smile.
"I do hope your book is capable of instant translation as well. I'm fluent in four languages, but I tend to prefer to write in Elven. Wouldn't do for the information to be inaccessible to people who don't know the language."

Sana enters the The Word on the Way. She walks around the shop looking at books, It is obvious that she has been her before.

Grobbix returns to the Library and asks Mister P if he needs any more help exploring the island.
"Grobbix is like exploring! Is good. Is very good! Grobbix is good explorer. Very good!"

In order to get this thread going again I will say that Sana generally went through the same process as the rest and that it is a new day when Grobbix walks in. This will also be after the session with the natives.
"Ah, nice to see you again Grobbix. Again I thank you for finding and peacefully bringing some natives to us. They have shared a small bit of information with us, such as the the fact that there are two other factions that oppose them. There are the monkey people which they call Vanara, and a human tribe of barbarians. Oh, and the wildlife is quite dangerous. There is also the mountain that they said is pretty much off limits, anyone who does go there never returns. Then there are also the strange plant zombies that the first expedition brought back." Pupillam will explain to Grobbix.

The goblin smiles and pets Tigger Kitteh.
"Grobbix is know about wildlife. Is tasty meats. Grobbix is protect Tigger Kitteh from scary creatures."
Grobbix looks up at Pupillam, he is now smiling so large that his face looks to be nothing but sharp teeth.
"Grobbix is want to explore island more. Is good explorer. Is very good! Grobbix is like it on island. Is much nicer than nasty old Rook. TIgger Kitteh is like island too."

Char Kirill walks into the Word on the Way invisible, not for secrecy. Just on a whim. He walks past the desk and takes his travelogue from his pack opening the portal to the library. "Hey kid." Char walks through the portal to find everyone speaking and begins to read and eavesdrop while invisible. When the conversation comes to the topic of the monkeys he slams his book shut in a start and jumps up from his seat. Walking over to the group as he casts Alter Self to become a Charau-Ka and dispels his invisibility. "I AM READY TO MEET SOME MONKEYS!!!!"

Kelon enters the Word on the Way and asks the attendant to open the portal. Once inside the library, he seeks out Pupillam. "Greetings, Master Clown", he says. "I've rather enjoyed the time I've spent on this island of yours. You know, I'm starting to find the forests of Rook to be rather boring... I think I'd like to relocate my camp to this island. How might I go about getting one of those magic portal books?"
