Soran walks into the smith looking around for the owner. "What can I do you for, stranger?" The smith asked. "Hello there ser, I am in need of a place to work and was wondering if you needed any help? I am an adventurer you see, but would also like a more steady job to pay the keep me afloat when jobs are scares." The smith seemed to frown when Soran said adventurer but relented. "I don't care much for adventurers boy but if you are good enough I will not turn you away. Let me see you make some armor and then I will make a decision." the smith offered. Nodding at the request Soran got to work. After a few hours working he presented the finished work. The smith inspected it before taking a swing with his blacksmith hammer. "Decent enough but this is not master work boy. He can do some of the easier work around the shop, which will free me up to do some of the more delicate work."

Wanting to have a little more protection in the field Soran works one making himself some masterwork breastplate armor. Relizing that the tools he had on him would just not cut it, Soran bought some masterwork armor tools.
taking 10: Craft = 14 + 2(tools) = 16
breastplate armor DC 16
breastplate cost is 350 gold, raw materials is 175 (uses 14 goods as raw materials)
16*16=256
Soran works on Masterwork breastplate armor
((OOC: -50 gold masterwork armor tools / - 15 goods / 7 gold for raw materials))

Swinging his hammer for the final time, Soran looked at his newly made armor. It was much more bulky then his previous one but would offer more protection than the hide armor he was using at the moment.

Turin walked into the smithy, slightly wincing with every step; the result of a near-fatal encounter the other day. Seeing one man near the forge, Turin approaches him, " I heard you may be provide armor for cheap. You're Soran right?" Turin inquired. "My leather top just isn't cutting it no-more. Are you able to make me something a bit more reliable? I only got a hundred gold pieces to spend; What do ya recommend?"

Soran looks over the blond haired man, "Given your build I might recommend some of the more light weight medium armor like hide or scale mail. Though if you were only using leather before, you might be more comfortable with a chain shirt. It offers just as much protection as hide but does not get in the way as much." Soran gives Turin another look over, "Yes I think a chain shirt would work nicely. I would recommend a custom made armor but those run a little high and are a little out of your price range at the moment. I can re-fit an already made on for you for 80 gold if you want?" Soran offers.

Turin gives Soran a beaming smile. "Great!', He remarks, as he holds up the chain shirt examining the subdued sheen of the interwoven links, " This should work out well. Very well." Handing over 80 gold Turin looks Soran in the eye, " Thanks again mate. Truly appreciate the work." Taking his new piece, Turin heads back out into the bustling streets of Rook.

On a fair weather afternoon Herace walking around town seeing whats new decided to walk into a smith he had hear about recently. Walking in he notices Soran at work and exclaims "Bow man! long time" herace then proceeds to sit down next to soran as he works the armour. Suddenly he says"Hey, me craft that too"

Played for Crafter's Fortune to be cast on Soran. -50 gold Soran started work on Mithral Full Plate for 5250 raw material. Finished time will be on 5/6/2015.

Feeling weak and sickly from his last adventure Soran heads to a cleric for some healing. He gets a remove disease spell cast on him. (-90 gold)

Feeling lonely with the lost of his kitty friend, Soran heads out towards the mountains around Rook and begins the ritual to find a new partner. After a day of waiting, a friend finally answers his prayers.

Trying to increase his arsenal, Soran starts work on making an adamantine Horsechoper. Total cost will be 1505 gold coins for raw materials and 50 gold coins for Crafter's Fortune to be cast on him.
Will finish for in 4 days time.

Start Retraining for Soran. Should have started two months ago. have not been able to play with him for a loooooong time. Oh well.
