Fuu spends most of her time in the Golden Plow and other rough taverns boasting about her latest accomplishments out in the field and especially in the Arena. She's a complete light-weight when it comes to drinking though, becoming completely inebriated by even a few drops of alcohol. When she drinks, she tends to start rambling about how great she is, yelling at people to "Drink up!", and referencing her great inner strength that she calls "Girl Power"
Fuu makes her and her sister's living mostly by adventuring and competing in prize-fights in the Arena. She does her best to give the people what they want and values showmanship above effectiveness. Her favorite thing to ask during pivotal moments in battles is, "Are you not entertained?!"
When she isn't out and about, Fuu is usually at home being a surprisingly responsible and capable big sister to her sister Itsuki. She cooks all of their meals, does their laundry, and makes sure Itsuki keeps up with her studies (even if she doesn't understand them herself). They live in an apartment Fuu rented with the prize money from her first big Arena win.

The day after the Kobold assault outside the plow, Jochem tracks down Fuu. "Fuu, I wanted to thank you again for seeing me restored to life. I owe you a great debt, and even if I had money to give I do not feel it would be appropriate. Instead I would offer to stand by you if ever you are in need of a companion, protection, or a voice to vouch for you. I intend to visit my parents old homestead to think about what I have seen, and felt (Jochem's fingers graze the kobold hand print scarred into his leather armor), but I expect I will return in a few weeks. I will stop by to see you and if you have any need of me you only need ask." Jochem clasps Fuu's forearm for a few seconds and gives a solemn nod (almost like a small bow) before leaving.

"Oh, you're the guy that died!"
Fuu looks at Jochem inquisitively as he's expressing his heartfelt thanks and begins poking at the bits she saw dissolved by the kobold's acid.
"...wow. Magic sure is creepy..."
Realizing she might be being insensitive, Fuu retracts her hand and says with a panic,
"Not that I wasn't listening to all that, I mean!"
She laughs nervously and scratches her head,
"You don't need to thank me so much, though. You might not have had to... not die...if I..."
Fuu trails off as her demeanor darkens a bit, but she immediately perks up and smacks Jochem on his shoulder and flashes a toothy grin with her eye gleaming happily.
"I know! You should come cheer me on in the Arena sometime when you get back! There's no magic there, which means it's instantly better than 90% of Rook!"

Jochem allows Fuu to poke him without flinching, remembering how distraught she was at the thought he might be undead. "I saw some druids as a boy, but truly I do not understand these magics either. I cannot complain much about the result of them when wielded by good people though."
When Fuu's mood turns dark, Jochem places his hand on her shoulder, "You were not yourself at the time, you fought bravely when the scaly one's magic was not infecting you."
Jochem can't help but grin at Fuu's enthusiasm, "If you want a companion for a team match, I will gladly stand by you. Failing that I will certainly come and support you. I have not been to the arena yet and look forward to it."
"Now, I must still find that mage, Venorim, and thank him. I hope to find you well when I return, good hunting Fuu."
