Jotunn can usually be found complaining about the youth of today in various places around rook. If someone wishs to sit and listen to his storys most fine that he has a fascinating way with words.

A lanky half-orc sits across the table from you. You recognize him from a previous adventure as Krang.
"We were thinking since we first met you and what we sensed. You have many spirits inside your shell of flesh. However, where I feel harmony in our spirit merge, your spirit merge feels chaotic and conflicting. This we are not familiar with."
Krang continues as he pulls a stack of cards, "Should you have the time, we would enjoy it greatly to tell you and your spirits your fortune."

Jotunns looks at him and stares blankly. After a minute he speaks in a rather diplomatic and pleasant voice.
"Ah a mystic of some sort, very well, I would love a reading!"
He goes blank again, after a bit a gruff, gravelly voice speaks
"Get on with it witch."

"Please do not mistake us for drawing upon powers from which are not of this world. We commune with the spirits and the spirits tell us what they can."
Krang rests his bony hand atop the deck on the table. His pupilless eyes seem to look right through you.
Xeer crawls out from under the Shaman's tribal garmet and sits upon Krang's shoulder.
"CAW! What is it that you seek old man!?"

Jotunn slumps, he takes on the mannerism of an elder, and in the voice you are famililar with responds:
"I merely wish to be in the world. So far I have suceeded, but I fear one day my travels will end"
He shifts again, and in a smooth, seductive female voice
"I am no old man, he is but one of many.."

Krang and Xeer speak simultaneously, "Many impact the fate of the one. The many must focus to not forsake the one."
Xeer repeats, "CAW! What is it that the one seeks?!"

"Let me talk you harlot"
"Fine..."
In his older voice:
"Right then, well I believe me and my fellow compatriots seek to regain our old power. The time its taking really is unfortunate."

You watch as Krang's hands split the deck again and again until there are 6 piles. He takes grabs 5 of these piles, placing them off to his side. From the single pile, he lays out a spread of nine cards, 3 rows of 3 cards.
As you select one, you reveal a card: The Beating
Krang firmly states to you, "This card signifies your current position in the world and in relation to your question. We know the Beating to be an omen of dissolution of the self. Whether this strength if found in the flesh or in the mind, it is currently under a relentless attack.
His hands work once again to shuffle the nine cards. Laying them down he reveals to you, the cards of your past, your present, and your future.
Your spread:
[Past] [Present] [Future]
[The Bear] [The Cyclone] [The Paladin] [The Keep] [The Forge] [The Uprising] [The Fiend] [The Beating] [The Big Sky]
Xeer speaks to you, "Your past reveals to us the Fiend. In it's current position, it means that the deaths of many in a great calamity happened. If not a catastrophic event, then a dark creature of great intelligence once endangered your people."
Krang continues as if one person is speaking.
"Just as the Beating represented your current position, the relentless assault echoes on your fate as it is perfectly aligned. Be wary of not to lose your mind Jotunn. There is hope though in your current situation as The Forge dictates you bring great strength through diversity. These many sources of strength will assist you to overcome a dangerous event."
Krang flips over the last column, revealing what represents the future. Both the Shaman and the raven tilt their head.
"We see a conflict in your future. Both the The Paladin and the Big Sky are boons. The Paladin symbolizes that you will stand strong against great adversity to come. The Big Sky represents an epic moment of powerful change similar to the feeling of having long-time shackles being cast off. However, the Uprising worries us. It is perfectly aligned and is indeed an omen. Your future holds an overwhelming strength that is much stronger than you Jotunn. You will be caught up in this should you continue your path and it will destroy you. You must be wary of this."

Jotunn ponders for a long time the meaning of this revelation.
"834 years on this planet and mortals such as you still still suprise me"
He pauses, and thanks krang 4 more times, the 1st time giving him a soldierly solute, the second a tribal mark of respect, the third an elegant courtsy and the fourth a respectful bow.
Finally, in the voice krang is familiar with Jotunn says:
"Thank you for the reading spirit whisperer, may your journeys bring the answers you may seek as well"

Togo, still covered in sores from wounds she sustained in an encounter with a dire porcupine a few days ago, wanders into the Golden Plow once again. Big Daud, seeing her Eidolon, nearly raises his voice to exclaim once again, "YOU CAN'T BRING THAT THING IN HERE", until he notices Togo sitting on top of it and remembers why he allowed it the last time.
Big Daud just heaves a heavy sigh as Togo rolls up to the bar-top. He raises an eyebrow and says with a defeated voice, "Something I can get you, little missy?"
Togo scratches her arm nervously and says, "Oh, uh, tea please. I'm looking for someone, too...an older man named Jotunn? Do you know where I can find him?"

"Oi, that lout owes me money for some whiskey, was blathering on about imperial politics in a strange voice the other day"
Duade tells her he thinks Jotunn is in the academy district.
"And tell him to pay his damn tab! No more storys."

Slightly surprised at Duade's reaction, Togo nods and finishes her tea. She thanks him for the help and departs for the Academy District to find Jotunn.
As she's traveling the streets she hears an old man's voice bellowing at passers-by about how "dragons are a lie perpetuated by the government to manipulate and control the populace".
She recognizes the old man as Jotunn, but realizes he's not the same as he was the last time she saw him. He was rambling political nonsense and berating the "young folk" for having it too easy. Nothing like the chivalrous, armor-clad soldier that carried her away from the battlefield. He was acting just like he was the first time they ran into each other on the Goblin scouting job.
Togo rolls up to him and says, "Mister Jotunn? Do you remember me?"

Old man Jotunn looks her over, "Your that young girl Arthur saved"
He yells at some teenagers about the end times before turning back to face Togo again,
"I think we had a dealing as well, Goblins was it?, anyway, how can I help you?"

"Arthur...so that's his name? The man who saved me? I remember you mentioning during our scouting mission that you had...multiple minds in your head?"
Togo looks more than a little derailed as she ponders the idea of Jotunn's "affliction". At this point, Aobozu pipes up and says,
"Little Togo wishes to express her gratitude to the grand knight that saved her life, Master Wizard. As do I, the girl is very dear to me and it pains me that I could not prevent her from coming to harm as I had promised to do..."
The Eidolon's noble and courteous dialect is laced with a pang of guilt as he expresses what they both came to Jotunn to say.

"Oh yes, well let me fetch him real quick" Jotunn pauses, then he stands up straight, and you can feel a palpable aura of authority emanate from him. His face seems kinder and more stern, like the look of a father.
"Ah young Togo, and her...Guardian?.. Regardless, I am always happy to help those in need of it. Though I must admit my actions were not entirely unselfish, you remind me of someone.." His face seems to sadden at the thought.

Togo leans in to look at Jotunn a little closer.
"Mister...Arthur? Yes, you're different somehow...oh, right, did you happen to hear Aobozu just then? I wanted to thank you for saving me. I don't remember much of that fight...I think I passed out a couple times...I just remember riding back to Rook on your horse. I'm sorry for being such a burden on you..."
Her eyes tear up a bit and she hangs her head in humility as Aobozu speaks up as well,
"Master Arthur. You have done not only Togo, but myself, a great service. Whatever your reasons for helping her, I scarcely see such kindness among mortals. Even in my home of Elysium, my fellow spirits rarely act with such gallant intent. I would ask if there's anything we could do to repay you. I admit my own curiosity, though, who could little Togo remind you of that would prompt you to act with such purpose?"

Aobozu will heave a sigh and say,
"Ahh...so that's how it is...I can sense your lifetime existed long before the Wizard's. You have my sincere condolences."
Togo looks up shocked at the knight after the revelation and tears start to stream down her face as she apologizes profusely.
"I'm sorry...I'm sorry..."

Arthur smiles, "Do not cry for those that are dead youngling, for they are hopefully in a better place, away from the sorrows of the world"
He then hands her a piece of cloth to dry her eyes, and says:
"May your travels be filled with the light of the divine, and hopefully have less porcupine quills" Arthur says with a smile, then pauses...
...and with that, the old man returns and wishes togo luck as well smiling and walking down the street with his staff, pausing only to yell at kids running around him recklessly.

Togo clutches the cloth in one hand and tries to stifle her tears to look up at Arthur with a smile and nods.
"Thank you, Mister Arthur. We'll do our best."
Aobozu adds the remark, "Especially concerning the porcupine creatures..."
The two laugh as Togo dries her eyes with the cloth and she waves goodbye to Jotunn as she watches him blunder down the street yelling at the kids.
She then returns to The Sleeping Mare to do more magic training.

"Pssst hey, scary guy. Yeah, down here. It's me." Grognabble offers what passes for a smile. "Someone told me you were selling a cloak? You know, one of those special cloaks that help you resist things? Yeah, I want one of them. I'll give you 750 for it? Unless you wanna swap for something? I got all sorts of chems - fire, ice, stinkies, bright lights, you name it I got it.
Or maybe some opium? Hey? That sound good?" Grog gives Jotun a conspiratorial wink and waits his answer.
OOC - I can give you 750 cash or 1000 worth of alchemical stuff (since I'd sell it at 75%) or some combination of the two.

After a few weeks in Rook Marcus was starting to get the hang of city. Once more armed with directions from Big Duade he found himself walking up to the table where the odd fellow with the chaotic personality generally held court. He offered the fellow a nod that was part bow as he approached, keeping his cape over his sword so it wouldn't be distracting. "Good evening, I was told you would be the one to speak to to have magical wares crafted? I'm looking for something it aid my agility."

"Ah yes, one moment" he says in a pleasant voice. His posture shifts and his face seems to grow wiser. He pulls out a pipe and speaks in the voice of a much elder man "Yes lad, I have just the thing for you, a belt I can make known to increase ones speed in beneficial ways."
Jotunn tells him to return in 8 hours, and presents him with a belt of dexterity taking his 1k gold profit.

You see a familiar girl in fullplate armor approach you with a book clutched in her arms. Nervously looking around, she speaks in a soft tone, "Oh, uhm, h-hello Jotunn. I was wondering if you could help me with something. M-my healing powers are becoming outpaced by the monsters I've been fighting a-and I wanted to see if you could make this for me." She holds out the book, opening it to a bookmarked page titled "phylactery of positive channeling" "It would really help me a lot n-next time we fight together."

Jotunn looks at you with venomous eyes, Naverine says: "Ah, its you girl, let me fetch the old man, hes the one that deals in trinkets."
After a couple seconds, Jotunn takes up a familiar posture and pull out his pipe.
In his elderly voice "Let me look at that. Ah yes, quite a fancy item you request. Give me 3 days to finish it young lady."
