Rook Hero Guild - Five Tenets
1. Give people a good greeting. 2. Try not to give up. 3. Sleep well, eat well. 4. If you're troubled, talk to someone! 5. You're likely to succeed if you try
Togo advertises for her guild in whatever inns and taverns she can find with a job board. The "Rook Hero Guild" doesn't have a building yet, though, because only Togo (and by extension Aobozu) are a part of it. They accept any type of job, large or small, ranging from finding lost pets to helping out at shelters and churches. Occasionally, they get to go on actual adventures, but the smaller jobs fill the bulk of their time. Each parchment advertising the guild has its "Five Tenets" on it and has a small note near the bottom that details the inn Togo can usually be found at if anyone wants to put in a job request or even join the guild. *As far as downtime expenditure, Togo herself will be spending her days alternating between using her Profession to gather gold and earn Capital. I'll be keeping track separately, but will post the results periodically when I get a chance.*

Sel'Thotenith finds himself traveling afoot on a main dirt road, seeing farming fields of grain and corn along with a few farmers spotted from afar. The Elf took a deep breath through his nose, raising his head and closing his eye up as he soaked in the breeze. The fresh air gave him a sense of simplicity and tranquility and as his eyes opened once more, spotted a sign pointing to the city of Rook, and proceeded with a brightness to his travels. The sun was high in the sky as it seemed midday. Clouds partially covered the sun's radiance, making the day a balance of warmth. The winds were gentle and cool as they brushed the passing grains lightly.
Upon reaching a more established town, he could notice it's inhabitants at ease in spirit people conversing; others resting with carelessness and peace. Reaching the end of the street, Sel notices a sign hanging off of one of the buildings in the shape of a flagon colored in a copper metallic look with the title "The Bronze Mug." Though Sel was reluctant upon entering, he did notice a bulletin board just outside the building, and on it, a posting about "Rook Hero Guild." Upon finishing his read through the Five Tenants and what the guild is about, Sel smiles as he believes he's found exactly what he's looking for, and proceeds on to find Togo at the inn disclosed in the note.

Sel finds himself outside of a rather modest looking inn with a sign that reads "The Sleeping Mare".
He walks in to find a scarce amount of people. Mostly families and commoners. You see no sign of anyone who looks to fit the description of an adventurer, let alone a "hero".
The rather bored looking bartender looks up from cleaning the bar-top at Sel and shines a bright smile.
"Ah! An adventurer, by the looks of you! You've got the fancy elven garb and armor to show for it. Don't get too many in here. Can I get you something?"

Looking around, he feels slightly discouraged but kindly walks himself inside. 'Maybe she's not here yet' he thought. Approaching the opposite side of the bartop, he seats himself and nods slightly to the barman. "Greetings, yes I'm quite new to venturing myself. I've spotted an ad to the Rook Hero Guild and wondered if they have a spot open for someone as new as I." As he spoke, he adjusted his gear to lay his greatsword beside him, letting it lean against Sel's side of the bar top with the pommel at the top. To that he looked around the room again to see any distinguishing characters that may be from such a guild. His eagerness to join is somewhat being kept under composure.

The bartender pours a different patron a drink as Sel gets himself situated, but nearly drops the mug on the ground at the mention of the Rook Hero Guild.
He collects himself and gives the customer his drink before giving a surprised sounding laugh.
"You mean little Togo's guild?! Hah, I admit I wasn't too sure she'd get recruits. Here, I'll call her for you!"
The man calls out across the room as you scan the area. Sel has a hard time picking out anyone in particular, but spots a small girl reading quietly in the corner that he originally overlooked. She perks her head up as the bartender calls out and Sel starts to see strange movement coming from behind the table.
The girl, without making any motions herself, emerges from behind the table on top of a strange beast. Its hide is white and leathery with legs resemble that of wheels made of tough looking bone and sinew. It has a large maw with a pair of vicious looking orange tusks below where the girl's legs hang, but overall resembles a chair.
Sel watches her as she rolls up to the bar and says to the bartender, "Is something the matter? You sound excited."
The bartender motions towards Sel and says with a chuckle, "You've got a new recruit for your little guild!"
The frail looking girl in extremely simple clothing looks up at Sel with a shocked expression before beaming a wide smile.
"You're here to join the Hero Guild?!"

Sel'Thotenith's eyes slightly widened at the bartender's reaction, looking back to the bartender as if the elf had done something wrong by mentioning the guild, but quickly removes that doubt as he realizes someone from the crowd has been known to be a guildsman. What could he expect; a heavily armored and honorable being, or maybe a dextrous and brilliant hooded figure? The elf turns his head, holding back so much excitement. "Yes, hello. I am -" He cuts himself off from the nearly jaw dropping surprise. 'A little girl?' his thoughts racing. 'Why is a little girl answering my post.' He swallows down more thoughts and nods to the delicate female. "Yes, I am interested in joining the Hero Guild." His smile had some doubt to his expectations, but would rather see what results this may bring.

Togo clasps her hands together and exclaims, "Of course you can join!"
She reaches her left hand down to touch her Eidolon and says, "Did you hear that, Aobozu? We actually got another member!"
She looks back up at Sel and raises her right hand in salute, donning an overly serious expression, before saying with a hearty bellow, "Rook Hero Guild Five Tenets! Give people a good greeting! My name is Togo, and this is Aobozu. It's wonderful to meet you, Misterrr...?"

Sel begins to admire the spirited expression of the young woman. 'Oh my..."...actually got another member..." Am I really the only one.' His smile holds back a couple chuckles as he notices her seriousness behind her salutation. Without hesitation, he steps off his stool in front of Togo, and with a hand raised, returns the salute. "Sel'Thotenith Jarosan from The Verdant Realm, Miss Togo. Tis a pleasure indeed to join the Rook Hero Guild!" After a short moment, the elf slayer relinquishes his hand and bows his head to Aobozu. "It is much fortunate to find such a heart-filled greeting, your Tenets are well followed, and I will prove myself a fitting addition to your guild." To this, he raises his sword horizontally with his family insignia revealed on the pommel, the shape of a looped tree.

Togo, feeling very proud of herself, puts her hands on her hips and says, "I'll expect you to pull your weight, Mr. Jarosan!"
In response to the girl's cocky remark, Aobozu pipes up in his deep voice, "Dear me, but a single sword to her honor and the girl is already acting like a seasoned captain. You're still a long way to earning your title of hero, little Togo."
Noticeably embarrassed, Togo slams a fist into Aobozu's head and exclaims, "Don't make me look bad in front of the new recruit!"
Aobozu gives a deep chuckle before addressing Sel, "As you can see, Sel'Thotenith Jarosan from The Verdant Realm, the girl has an abundance of character. Now that you've joined, I would see you given proper amenities. Is there anything you require?"

"Yes Miss Togo, and you shall see no less from me." Sel held back a humorous grin as he watched Togo's display of leadership towards her eidolon. As much as Sel would suggest against a little girl not only adventuring but to be the leader of a venturing guild, he would like to see what made Togo have the idea of such a guild, more so on the reason for her eidolon and why he takes her seriously.
"So I'm the first sword in your guild? Sounds like this guild is freshly made. Anything I can do for now in the guild's name?" He spoke, sitting back down on the stool with his sword in front of him, now leaning on the pommel.

Togo scratches her head and chuckles a bit.
"Yeah, heh, it's really just been me and Aobozu for as long as I came up with the idea."
She puts a finger to her head, cheerily rocking from side to side in thought at Sel's offer of help.
"Hmm...I have a few jobs I'm working on, but what we really need is a bigger reputation. Now that we have 3 members, maybe people will be more inclined to give us bigger jobs. If we can save up enough resources for a guild-house, we'd attract more members too. I have a small amount of gold set aside that I've been saving up, but I bet if we worked together, it'd go twice as fast!"

'A guildhouse!' Sel's ears flicked at the sound. 'This girl really is serious.' The elf's eyes look downward as he thought to himself. How would we be able to efficiently earn a guild hall with just the three of us. "I didn't expect to find myself in service to a guild with little experience under it's name. However, starting off by serving inside the town could make us renown enough to earn more members." He looks around the room again, contemplating. "By helping the people we could even make ourselves known to the keepers of this town and may be able to take on tasks in which it's guardians won't be able to undertake away from their duties."
Sel stands up again and walks towards one of the windows, staring outward into town. Plenty of buildings being seen and the sun still shining brightly over the world. "Taking up the jobs you have could let me explore the town further. This doesn't seem too bad of an adventure to me." He looks to Togo and Aobozu, "I will take on whatever tasks you give me. I can even do some scouting as I complete them in order to find more jobs for us that may make the Hero Guild have a better reputation for the townsfolk." His elaboration gave off from his determination. Not exactly what he had expected, but nonetheless was what he was looking for in his task away from home."

After hearing Sel's very dedicated sounding suggestions, Togo claps her hands together and says with inspiration, "Rook Hero Guild Five Tenets! You're likely to succeed if you try!"
She then rolls back over to the table she was sitting at and shuffles through some papers. Collecting a thin stack, she brings it to Sel and hands it to him.
"Here, Mr. Jarosan, these are the jobs I currently have assigned to the guild. Well, the ones that have come to us, that is. We should also make an effort to take any jobs posted around the city's taverns as well. The Golden Plow in the southern slums is usually a good place to check, despite it being a bit of a rough place. I almost got kicked out for trying to bring Aobozu in, haha. We managed to get a job there working for the guard investigating attacks on adventurers the other day. It made us more gold in one day than we've made in a month!"
Sel will notice that the hand-written requests are mostly extremely minor and uninteresting tasks, such as helping to find a lost pet, tend to livestock, or even entertain the children at a nearby orphanage. Togo has fulfilled the orphanage job request multiple times over and is quite popular there for her story-telling and magical effects.

Sel smiled to the inspired guild leader, reassuring her tenant with a nod. His eyes shift from the window to his superior as she gathers a few papers, undoubtedly her guild assignments. Sel then listened to her story of her time in the slums. "Sounds like we'll need someone of physical talent to be assigned to that area."
The slayer's eyes dimmed at the sight of such seemingly mundane tasks, but with a sigh collects himself. "Not the first assignment I expected but at least there's something to work with." Reassuring himself that patience will come with great rewards. He brings the wanted poster of a lost pet to his focus and then returned the others to Togo. "I can start on this one."
