Gems DCs already received here. < 10 gp = DC 5, < 50 gp = DC 10, < 100 gp = DC 15, >= 100 gp = DC 20.
Now to the Jewelry I want to craft, you can see these here:
Holy symbol, gold (100gp) with a Holy symbol, compartment (+5gp)
And a bunch of other stuff below if it qualifies:
Now, a list of things I would consider Jewelry, taking into account the definition: a small decorative items worn for personal adornment. Please specify any you don't think I could craft with Craft: Jewelry, and provide a DC otherwise:
Everything related to Holy Symbols except those with channeling effects
Editing out the things I can't craft.
Brooch
Caul
Decorative trim
Jewelry
Jewelry, false
Hennin
Ring, poison pill
Ring, signet
Maybe I should grab a rank in Craft: Misc for all this other cool stuff.
Now to the other questions:
It is my intention to keep within reasonable bounds, which is why I'm bringing this up before I can do it.
I have the feat False Focus, which I made sure was legal.
Once I am level 3, I will be grabbing the spell Continual Flame. Everburning torches are created by casting this spell on a torch.
Ordinarily you make ~5gp per cast (110 market price, sold for half: 55gp, minus 50 gp for the spell and 1 cp for the torch).
I'll be able to cast it twice a day for free.
At higher levels making a full ~55gp barely dents WBL, and at no point does it make anywhere near what you get per adventure.
Making 110 gold a day might be a bit too much at level 3/4 however. WBL is 3,000/6000 for 3/4, so it would take almost an IRL month to make the 3K gold. Pretty sure people with Craft Wondrous Item make way more than that daily.
So yeah, if you want me to sell them to npcs at 1 quarter price instead of half until I get to x level or something that'd be totally fine.
Next up: Zanos rules that Symbol of Mirroring can't be placed on an item; it needs to be on a wall or something. I was thinking of inscribing this rune all over Miere Magick with a special triggering limitation to only affect those wearing a special piece of jewelry I crafted with my arcane mark on it (see Symbol of Death) in case we are attacked or something. Mobile SoMs are pretty broken, but I'd say a stationary one is fine. Are you guy cool with that?
Suggestion: ban the usage of Masterwork Transformation with False Focus.
Also if you ever unban Fabricate make sure no one uses False Focus with it.
Are you planning on doing a special event around Christmas? If I become a DM I'd like to do so.
I have Craft: Bow. Strangely, crossBOWS and bolts are listed under Craft: Weapons. Will you allow me to craft crossbows and bolts as well?
How do I order raw Adamantine from Oriar? I want to craft some Adamantine arrows
Make an official ruling about crafting spell components and post it under the crafting section on the wiki. E.g. spell components like onyx gems and diamonds can be crafted, but cannot be sold to other players at a discount, and you can't use them yourself to cheapen spells with material components
