Almyra Rowley comes into Miere Magick and converses with Raymond in his people's tongue. She places an order for a shortbow with him and hands over the 22.5 gp, promising to return later the next day to pick it up and buy some arrows for it.

Almyra drops by and picks up her arrow from Raymond at Miere Magick, praising the elf man for the beauty of his craftsmanship. She also purchases 20 barbed arrows and 20 blunt arrows from Raymond while there for 3gp.

Jochem walks in to Miere and asks for Raymond. "Raymond, glad to see the trials of the hobgoblin lair had no lasting effects on your health. I hear you are a prodigious fletcher and skilled bowyer. I would like you to make me a masterwork longbow of composite construction to bring the draw weight up to something more challenging." (mw composite longbow +2 str mod)
"I have 450gp ready if you have the time to accept my request."

Jochem draws the bow several times, sighting along the limbs, running fingers over the nocks, grip, and subtle curves. "A fine piece Raymond, this is a true hunters tool. I will live by it and if it comes to it, die by it too. Thank you."

A dark skinned Elf-looking woman enters Miere Magick. Adraste Voldaren approaches the counter. "Hello. I was wondering if it would be possible to commission a Masterwork, Darkwood Composite Longbow with a +2 draw strength. Also, I was looking to restock on a few bundles of arrows, maybe 2 bundles of regular arrows (40) and one bundle of blunt arrows (20). Would I be able to get that today?"

Adraste hands over the gold and puts away the items, slinging the longbow behind her. "Thank you for the items. If I need anything else I'll be sure to drop by." She gives a smile over her shoulder on the way out.

The day after the Kobold assault outside the plow, Jochem tracks down Raymond. "Raymond, I wanted to thank you again for seeing me restored to life. I owe you a great debt, and even if I had money to give I do not feel it would be appropriate. Instead I would offer to stand by you if ever you are in need of a companion, protection, or a voice to vouch for you. I intend to visit my parents old homestead to think about what I have seen, and felt (Jochem's fingers graze the kobold hand print scarred into his leather armor), but I expect I will return in a few weeks. I will stop by to see you and if you have any need of me you only need ask." Jochem clasps Raymonds forearm for a few seconds and gives a solemn nod (almost like a small bow) before leaving.
