So, I have a concept for a character that I think could be rather fun, and not terribly broken. However, at later levels it sort of requires the application of an alchemist's Mutagen class feature on an animal companion said alchemist would acquire via the Animal Ally feat.
Now, the Animal Ally feat essentially gives a character the druid's animal companion ability (with the effective druid level being Class Level -3), which means said companion gains the Link and Share Spells abilities.
So, I was wondering, since the things brewed by alchemists tend to be magical in nature (even if the alchemist himself is not technically a spellcaster), would the Share Spells ability (and/or something like the Infusion discovery) grant an alchemist who happened to have an animal companion (through feats or level dip or something) the ability to successfully dose his companion with his mutagen?

No, a non-alchemist can't benefit from a mutagen unless they specifically have an ability that allows them to do that.
