Queen Tel'ife, Drone Prime, Fred the warrior ant, and all the rest of the ants usually keep to their own corner of the world, but visitors are always welcome and good times are always to be had!

OOC: i'm a bit used to a more fast paced pbp rping style it seems, although it's been ages since. will try to do it your way (will edit that part out after you reply)
OOC: Aluin will pick up some books that he thinks are appropriate for a budding intelligence species, like "Glorious epics of heroes long gone", "Dragon's gate's places one must visit before dying" and "Best dwarven breweries across the world"
He will also pick up an intricate lock for Drone to experiement with with his pincers and a keg of beer and will travel to the ant's cave.
IC:
Thanks to spring being so close there is still plenty of light left as Aluin reaches the Ant encampent, his bags full of things to share and his mind heavy from recent dealings. As he approaches, he sees an ant and a human guarding the entrance. With a swift movement, he dismounts his horse and waves to the people there.
"Heya mates! it's been some time since i've last been here. Everything's good?"
Without waiting for a reply he will turn towards the ant and ask:
"Hey there too. Is Prime here? I want to give him some stuff and chat. Nothing too important or in a hurry, so if he is unavailable i can always wait for him to finish his work."

The ant on the left speaks in a gravelly and jarring voice, "Hello, Aluin; wee welcome you. Prime comes."
A few minutes later, a drone wearing a flower crown appears. In a slightly more refined and fluid tone he says, "Good day to you Aluin. Please, come inside. Much has changed since your last visit."

Aluin will unload his bags, give the books, booze and lock to the prime and say as he enters the encampemnt:
"Hello my firend, it's been some time. Here are some stuff for you and the queen to play and party with. I hope all those things you say have changed is good news?"

Prime contemplates silently before responding, "yes... we have a... gift of ssorts to give to you and the other people who are friends to us. We only hope the surprise is... pleasant."
As you approach the entrance to the ant cave Prime takes on an air of discomfort. A take ten will reveal he is rather embarrassed of something.
"I apologize my friend, but this is where we must part ways. Tel'ife is not wanting to receive guests as of this moment, as it may spoil the surprise. I must attend to her for now, but if you wish to stay, all but her grove is free for you to explore."
Drone goes silent as he awaits a response.

"No offense taken friend, a Queen is a Queen, and some privacy is to be expected."
Aluin waves goodbye to Prime, he will spend the night with the workers drinking and telling stories, and he will simultaneously try a gather information (take 10: result:19) in the off chance he can fish a rumor or two about what's going on with the queen and the project.

Your conversations will reveal that Tel'ife is preparing a surprise for the bipeds and you will most certainly be given an invitation to attend when it is ready. You will also find out that one of the heros that destroyed the old Queen has even assisted Tel'ife and will most likely be attending the unveiling.

Aluin will gladly accept the invitation, and on the morning after, he will head back to Rook. He will pick up a fresh pair of clothes, stuck it into his bag of holding, just in case. If there is no date set for that unveiling, he will just try his luck by visiting again the next evening and try to find out how close this unveiling is, and generally try to be present there. He will also buy a little better quality booze to stash into his pouch to celebrate the occasion when it comes.

Fred the Warrior ant waves good bye to the most recent group of adventurers to visit the Limestone Colony, promises of meeting again exchanged by numerous individuals.
