Heya Folks, We've been working pretty hard on the back end and we're about ready to kick this off. Dragons Gate games have now been running in beta for about two and a half months. So what exactly does it mean to 'launch' at this point? It really just means two things for us. First, we'll be starting some adventures having to do with the world plot. Second, we feel like we've hashed out our back end systems to the point where we are comfortable trying to bring an influx of characters. So, Dec. 1st will be our official launch. That said, here are some other important announcements: - We have a Wiki!
- We will start heavy recruiting right away
- The level cap is effectively removed
- With the rules for downtime retraining in place, the free L1-4 restat is going away. Last day to submit any qualified restats will be Sunday 11/23.
We feel like this beta has gone really well. When we first opened up the beta we expected to run maybe a game or two a week, and have just a couple handful of players. There have been 109 games in the 72 days since our first game. Wow. This has been fantastic and we really appreciate all the help we've had from this community.
Also, I want to give a special shout out to the 11 individuals who have stepped up to don the GM mantel. While the entire community is hugely important to us, we couldn't do it without our GMs.
