As a child, Menaphos lost his parents for reasons he did not understand, but was adopted by a long time family friend named Alice. Alice always taught Menaphos that he should always do the right thing, no matter what it took. She said to be kind to others, generous, and to seek his purpose wholeheartedly. As he grew older he started to understand that the world was not as great a place as Alice had made it for him, but this did not deter him from wanting to do good, in fact, it motivated him. He wanted to see the world become a better place, a place where everyone does good, and contributes to the wellness of society. He, one day, had a vision of a tall, green ogre, and this ogre asked him to go forth, take up arms and make the difference hes always wanted. so to this day he protects the innocent, and cleans the streets to the best of his ability. every time he takes up his mighty ogre hook he seeks to make change one swing at a time. For Shrek, he fights. Its all ogre now.
