Acquiring a template requires a character to be level 12 and is completely free, though a short story that described how the character gained the template is encouraged. Once you hit level 12 on a character, simply post here in this thread which template you'd like to pick up. If you currently have a template and would like to change it, then post the character name followed by current template and the template you are changing to. Lisa - Shadow touched (obviously) - anyone that knows her could ask her how she gained the template, tho she might not be willing to just put the story down

Miere Klerrin is currently a Worm that Walks, but yeesh with that Half Inevitable being all about lawful diplomacy, Miere's mantises are slowly being replaced with marble and clockwork biomechanical versions.

Cydo - Mercurial
At some point, Cydo seems to regain a power he lost a long time ago. Once he notices, Cydo reflects on the past -- about how he was one of many adventurers who attended classes on martial disciplines after martial adepts started appearing in Rook...only for the power of the techniques to suddenly disappear one day. Cydo himself was able to recover the ability to enchant his arrows (Stance of Piercing Rays into Warrior Spirit), but the other useful power he gained from the martial adepts, the ability to jump and let loose a flurry of arrows simultaneously, eluded him for a while...until now. And, like his arrow enchantment power, it seems to be better than it was previously.
After selling and buying some stuff, Cydo contemplates finding another job to do, but suspects that he isn't needed here anymore. There was that temple, but someone else might have scouted it out by now, and he'd need to find a team with a way to handle that blinding light. For now, Cydo starts exploring the nearby parts of the continent, at least sure that he can get out of danger if he has to.

Varian Fey -> Lich
Following the fallout from his acts of capriciousness under the influence of being a Fey, Varian retreated to the Interdimensional Library to study and contemplate. As he had been using necromantic powers, regardless of what others thought of their connotations, his studies were drawn naturally to the liches. He already spent most of his time in an astral projection as a form of both protection and to extend his life. He began the preparations and spent his time fulfilling the requirements, until all of his preparations were complete.
