Waking up early today, Ryku takes a minute to enjoy not having to rush to her office. Today she took the day off in remembrance of her older brothers, also thought it would be nice to go to the southern slums and do some charity work for the less fortunate kids. As she fully awakened Ryku put on all of her gear and made way towards the slums. As she walked down the street she took a deep inhale trying to take in as much of the freash air as she could before entering the dirty slums once more.
She sat on a bench still covered in the wet mist from it being morning waking for the district to fully wake up. With a smile on her face happily ready to start her day off by helping others.

"Captain" Jarrod Grim stumbles around the slums, looking a little haggard. Not noticing Ryku he sits down heavily on the other side of the bench.

Ryku looks over noticing that its the captian sitting next to her. "Ummm Jarrod whats going on with you?" she questions him with a very concerned look on her face.

He looks suprised, "OH its you lass" then sitting up a little straighter he says: "Aye, been sick the past couple days. Some thrice damned stomach problem. Unfortunately its kept me out for a bit."

She nodes her head as she listens to whats going on with the captin. "Have you tried seeing a doctor?" She asks him with concern. "Im sure if you do you'd feel a lot better!" she also adds.

"Bah, im better now, thanks for the consideration though lass" he grins: "Besides, aint nothing like the first time I sailed, I was heaving for months straight when I first started sailing."

she luaghes at his comment " if you say so Captain." She then moves the hair from blocked her face an looks at Jarrod. "Jarrod can I ask you something?" She quietly asks him.

She looks down at the ground... "since my commarads died I really feel like ive lost everything". Tears start to roll of her face and into her lap. "I dont know what this is anymore... The last couple of weeks I feel worthless like im just another Body to the state."

Jarrod looks her over with concern, "Dry those tears, you are a warrior lass." He pulls out a flask and hands it to her, "Comrades fall, and governments fail the only thing you can rely on in this world is your own skills and allies still alive." He smiles and stands up "New seas and fresh experiences on the horizon lass! Honor the fallen by being alive! Do you think they would wish to see you in such a state?"

Ryku wipes her face... and looks up to him "Your right jarrod this is no way to honor the dead." She then stands up and says "Thank you for encouraging me and setting me back in place." she tries to smile through the pain She then says. "I dont know theres just so much going on in Rook and its hard to understand."
