Turmoil is rising in the human Empire. Keldersfort is rife with charlatans and false prophets decrying the solid regime of the Beacon. Martial law threatens to erupt with civilian casualties as the paladins of the Enlightened struggle to combat the rising civil unrest. The High Pontiff of the Beacon has gone missing, a bad omen that detractors latch onto to fuel their conspiracies and rumours. Glimpses of the Faith Incandescent, known to some as Shining Children, have been seen stalking the streets to prey on the faithless. Increasingly desperate for aid, the Arch Lector of the Light has swallowed his pride and sent out for help, offering great reward and social status to those who can assist with quieting down the heresy, locating the High Pontiff or even to mitigate the lawlessness beginning to sweep the city. As the head of an empire, should Keldersfort fall then the consequences would reach far indeed.
This is a play by post for characters level 11 to 15. You may sign up with multiple characters, but rewards will be tracked separately for each character - it would be useful to have a means to differentiate between them.
Sign ups are now locked.
Each character will receive a reward of 1/2 CL as per our exp chart per approx 1,000 words, to be awarded bi-weekly. This play by post will continue till the problem is resolved, which may take 'some time'. I am present on the boards daily, and will update at a minimum of once per day with more updated depending on increased player participation. Though by no means required, it is encouraged to post at least once every 2 days to keep the game moving along. Interaction between players is also encouraged.
