The party ventured forth into the tunnels beneath the mountain town hoping to find an alter they believed to be the source of the strange warping in the tunnels. They quickly came across a batch of deamons and their pet abberration. However a miscommunication lead to Akane becoming stranded ahead of the party after the battle was joined. She was captured by the aberration before it retreated with its meal, leaving the party a magical girl down. The party was quickly overwhelmed be the deamons breath weapons as not everyone had recieved a copy of protection from energy. Despite the daemons offering surrender, as their master wanted to speak with the adventurers who had been exploring the tunnels the remaining party remembers chose to fight. After a long drawn out battle lasting a whole three minutes the party finally won out with Kade besting the final daemon; defeating it moments before it could strike on him a killing blow. Akane eventually woke up in the lair of an Aboleth that claimed to be from the future. It revealed that in its far future timeline the great old ones had invaded eventually overwhelming the planets defenses before enslaving the world. Seeing a chance to change its miserable position as an escaped slave in hiding it sent back a history book from its time detailing the attack with Akane before asking her to pass word it would like to be visited by some adventurers.
