Character Name: Elderic Don Vontay
Character & Description:
Elderic would have an off look to the average person. While currently he is dressed the same as your average mercenary type, he carries himself as nobleman would. When he speaks, words themselves are polite and respectful, yet the tone makes you feel as if your being looked down apon. Also save for one fresh looking scar across his left eye, he looks like a man who has held a life of leisure. Skin is pale and the slender figure show's that he is not a laborer.
Background Information:
Elderic Dos Vontay was the only child of Merria and Dorn Vontay, two nobles of the elven city of Londorellon. Growing up, Elderic had many advantages that other people could not afford. His mornings where spent learning the art of fencing, in the afternoon he would watch and learn the politics of the city and at evening he would be taught arcana by master wizards. However as Elderic was reaching the age of adulthood, his life changed drastically. It was ambition that pulled Merria and Dorn into their position of power, but it was that same ambition that caused it to all fall apart. They were a part of a failed coup against the ruler of Londorellon. Fearing that he would be executed alongside his parents, Elderic fled the city. He managed to elude the city guard, though it was costly, paying for smugglers and bribes. He found shelter in an inn a few days ride away from the city. It was there he heard news of parent’s fate. They have both been hanged and all property seized. He also heard all property has been seized and the Vontay name removed from the list of noble houses.
This was not right, he thought. He has lost everything over a foolish venture that he had no part of. It was then he knew what he had to do. His parents attempted to take power through a quick and sudden transition. They had money and political resources, but they lacked the power to truly snuff out their enemies. He will not make that mistake. He will bind his time. He will strengthen himself, gather allies, create an army and when the time is right, he will take back what he is owed.
(Note this was the second pathfinder character I have ever made and the first one was a long time ago, so please let me know if there are any glaring mistakes I have made that will cause my character to be unplayable.)
