Thraum walks into the shop and looks around, he walks up to whomever is running the storefront and says, "'ello, I was hopin' ta make it easier to get me sword ta hit harder more often. Got any of that magic stuff that can do that?"
(keen enchantment on a masterwork Falchion)

Looking up, Miere nods. "Certainly. Two days should suffice whether you already have some low enchantment upon the weapon, or should it be a pristine masterwork weapon as yet untouched by magic that you would like both enhancement and an effect on."
Looking the dwarf up and down thoughtfully, Miere nods. "I'm guessing making it keen, plus the requisite enchantment necessary to add such an effect, would suit you?"

Thraum thinks for a minute then pats his gold pouch. "Just gimme the one. Ain't got that much on me."
*As he says this, Thraum pockets some coins from his pouch, leaving 1500 gold in it*
"That should cover it. Don't know magic but I do know me prices."

A familiar face pulls up to miere and capitalists store. His driver looks unusually heavy armored, and has a rather fashionable ring as well.
Solomon steps down from the cart and walks in, He says: "Hello Miere, how are the kids?" in a uncharacteristically cheerful voice.

Looking up, Miere smiles as he sees Solomon. "They're both doing well thanks, though I must admit I'm still somewhat new to actually being a father figure for a small child. How goes your collection of employees?"

Solomon chuckles, "I've been agressively expanding my current roster" he points at his driver, "the latest employee, not asas physically impressive as the last to, but he is a bit more inconspicuous"

Looking the driver up and down, Miere nods. "True, he blends in somewhat more than the bigger boned fellows. I'm guessing you're here since he needs to be armed properly?"

"Well, he's more of a driver. Actually, although I have to admit to enjoying you and capitalists way of thinking, I am here for these:" he pulls over the tarp on his cart to reveal two massive blades of excellent quality. "I fought some shadows today, nasty bastards, I find that my employees required a lot more effort to end these foes. Thus I feel the need to equip them slightly better, I know you are the man and well, eidolon for the job."

Looking over the swords, Miere gives a low whistle. "Not worked on blades that big before, but the principle is the same. It shouldn't be a problem at all and I can get them enchanted fairly quickly. I must admit, I somewhat feel sorry for the entities that will be hit by these."
Capitalist wanders over and hefts the swords, carrying them in to the workshop.

Solomon gives a sly grin.
"They usually dont last long enough to feel sorry for them"
He hands Miere the 3000 gold
"Thank you, my employees do appreciate it. Well, they would but you understand there posistion im sure."

After taking the gold, Miere and Capitalist get to work after several more pleasantries. After a mere couple of days the swords are indeed done and transported to Solomon's place of residence via Capitalist.

Setting up the table in his office for what looks like a seance, Miere tutted to himself and mumbled under his breath, going over the questions again in his head. Capitalist watched him patiently from the corner of the room as he understood how Miere thought and was content to wait. With the crackle of patially broken chiting, Venture fluttered up on the the desk, adjusting his newly made clothing. His tail was still reminiscent of his previous disguise, that of a mottle green scorpion, but the rest of him now appeared as a tiny slim humanoid. Emerald feathery wings sprouted from his back, an almost garish colour compared to his duller skin. Looking up at Miere, he gracked a tiny grin. "So Sir, what were you going to ask?"
As Miere turned to Venture he frowned. "I must confess, the exact wording slightly eludes me. As you know I wish to start researching how to... alter my form to be closer in function to the malleability of Capitalist and to some extent yourself, but condensing it to a series of yes or no questions is an interesting exercise..." With a deeper frown Miere sat back in his chair, his fingers steepled on the desk in front of him. After a few moments, Miere nodded at venture to begin. With a slightly chuckle, Venture eased himself in to a sitting position only to suddenly snap upright a few moments later, light emanating from his eyes and mouth as the commune began.
Leaning forwards, Miere started.
"Does Rook have the research and information to work towards immortality?"
"Would Cloud City or Orashar be a better choice to research immortality than Rook?"
"Are the Illithids, self-named Psionidari, of Orashar a productive choice to ask about methods of altering my form and nature?"
"Since Cloud City has a population of Tieflings, would they be useful to talk to concerning extending my lifespan?"
"Do the Drow of Oriar allow outsiders to delve in to their research of fleshcrafting?"
"Would I need to go to an as yet undiscovered by Rook location to investigate maintaining physical and sentient existance beyond death?"
Thinking those questions sufficient for now, Miere leant back and waited for the answers.

Miere's Imp Venture freezes in place, his eyes glaze over as he stares at miere slackjawed. The candles in the room flicker momentarily, and a deep growl emits from the open Imps mouth. In a voice that ignites Miere's primal fear of the unnatural his questions are answered in turn.
"Yesss"
"Yesss"
"Unclear"
"Yesss"
"No."
"Unclear"
After it has answered, Venture shakes as if wakening from a deep sleep, and asks what his master has learned.

Miere pondered the words for a few moments before responding. "It seems like the areas to look to are Rook and either Cloud City or Orashar, maybe both. Tieflings as a matter of course, no doubt due to their ancestry. The Drow are a dead end which is a slight relief, as I hear their fleshcrafting is a less than pleasant experience."
Standing up with renewed purpose and the beginnings of a grin, Miere turned to Capitalist and Venture. "It looks like we have a lot of research to do lads. Here's to beginning the first step of practical immortality!"
Chuckling, Venture stood and brushed himself off as Capitalist inclined his head in agreement. There was lots of work to do. The Miere Magick libraries would be the first starting point.

Neigh Chevaloshad will visit Miere with his Squire Sue, Leona the Accolyte, Charlotte Dream Weaver, and Diane. An Adamantine +2 Dwarven Lance will need to be imbued with Holy power. 19,200gp will be made available for the process. The Dragon Wagon Train will keep on the move to avoid charges of vagrancy, but remain in the vicinity performing maintenance on 4 separate Howda shells, trading horse flesh, and generally providing the services of block party feast, feting the guards and locals with fine beer, wine, and liquor until the crafting is complete.
