A group of adventurers, which consisted of Fenix, Valtrya, Jorak, Puff, Sev, and Vincent, heard about an arena nearby that was offering a huge reward to anyone that managed to beat it. The group decided that they would attempt the challenge and try to get that reward. The first enemy they fought were mummy golems that tried to strangle them with their wrappings. After easily dispatching the mummies, huge elephants were sent out and began trampling the party. With quite a bit more effort the elephants were also taken down. The next creatures sent out were colossal spiders that managed to kill both Jorak and Valtrya in one swift attack. At that point the spiders were called back into their cells and the fight ended. Jorak and Valtrya were revived and everyone in the party received rewards for making it as far as they did.
Note: We had already reached the time for a full session before I sent the spiders out, and the spiders were quite a higher CR than they could handle, so I did not make Jorak and Valtrya lose rewards for dying.
