Simon is a typical follower of Erastil. He enjoys simple things, he has no desire for glory or fame. His goal is to find a settlement to watch over and find a good wife to raise a family with. He is currently traveling because there are already several clerics of Erastil in the settlement and generally there are only 1 or 2 per settlement and he wishes to spread the word of Erastil to others.
He currently is traveling, he makes a living by healing those who are injured, although he rarely charges more than a home cooked meal and a warm place to sleep, and selling the extra game he gets from hunting.
He has three brothers and 2 sisters his parents are alive and well although his father does not get out hunting much any more.
