Long ago a mad wizard living in a tower deep in the jungle had a rather mad idea. Tired of the local villages that paid him tribute bothering him about dealing with the various monsters bandits and diseases that he was technically charging them to deal with, he decided to start taking in the various orphans that lived in the villages, claiming that he was going to have them do work for him. All to happy to have less mouths to feed they handed them over post haste, giving the wizard plenty of material to experiment in in his creation of a small personal adventuring force of alchemically hopped up orphans given minimal training and a point object and aimed at things that were a problem. The plan worked surprisingly well, with the surviving warriors managing to pass on what they learned to subsequent generations; even learning the basic alchemy needed to continue on their own without the wizard who founded them. They then burned his tower down, and started taking his pay from the villages for themselves. However as time wen't on they found that their effective defense of the local populace meant that they didn't really have that many orphans to recruit from any more. The order dwindled until its surviving members scattered, deciding to travel far and wide plying their trade in small groups often consisting of one warrior and several apprentices who after their training would then leave on their own.
Alozjy at one point in his life was one such apprentice. His earliest memories being of goblins burning down his family farm. He's spent the rest of his youth in a highly competitive unpaid internship with a priority in on the job training. For the past several years he has been traveling on his own, scraping by and hoping for a chance to put his talents to use.
Alozjy has an awkwardly cavalier towards many of the oddities of the adventuring lifestyle as to him its just the way things are. He tends to keep his hair in a loose long braid and often forgets to shave for weeks at a time giving him a somewhat unkempt appearance that belies a highly professional attitude and efficient work ethic. However, while he always tries to do what he feels is right he is somewhat desensitized to right and wrong do to his harsh upbringing.
