JARED'S REPORT
After fleeing the town, Jared thought about his behavior...he should have surrendered like Valerie and Kanir did.  He also wondered what they thought of him right about now.
But why did he do what he did?  Maybe he didn't trust the townspeople, maybe his superhuman speed got to his head, maybe he doubted his ability to talk his way out of anything.  Jared wasn't sure, but he decided it didn't matter.
In any case, Jared decides that it would probably be best if he stayed out of that town like they initially asked.  He heads over to the town the party originally got the job from to see if anything is different.  While he would be very vulnerable by himself, perhaps he can escape any bandit ambushes if need be.  Of course, he intends to return to the outer perimeter of the town eventually, if only to regain contact with the party.
