Beck: Dead and retired.

The next day in Dralhearth, Pab and Sirru were having breakfast in The Inn's Mouth tavern when Beck entered, fresh off the road and lured by tales of the tavern's excellent seafood. He took a table near the pair and wasn't to be disappointed, heartily tucking in to some swordfish steak and crab cakes. Whilst Pab and Sirru debated what to do, Yenge the fisher staggered in, wounded on his face and with a broken arm. He blacked out as he finally saw help, and the group rushed over to help as the barman grabbed a healer's kit and directed the adventurers whilst splinting Yenge's arm. Once a potion had been poured down him, he woke and was escorted back to his fishing hut near the docks for some privacy. Nervous and upset, he described how the previous night on the full moon he'd tried following the boats that went out as he was sure they had something to do with the disappearances. Convinced he'd find something this time, he'd been shocked when the boats he'd been trailing suddenly vanished without any cover. Unsure of what to do, he went to return to the shore only to be attacked by something he couldn't clearly see. With his face slashed and tipped overboard, he'd swam as best he could, breaking his arm on coral in his panic, finally managing to wash up on shore before blacking out. Waking in the morning, he'd managed to pull himself up and make his way to the tavern he knew the party had booked rooms in, only to black out when he found them.
Promising to pay them what he could if they found out what was going on spurred the party into action, in part as they actually liked the man. No other fishermen seemed to be around at all, and chatting to one of the other fishermen's wife revealed that she seemed troubled when it turned out her husband was missing and his boat was still in the dock. It didn't take much effort to 'borrow' one of the boats and sail out to the lobster trap which was near to the stop Yenge was attacked. Pulling it up, they found out that the skeletal fish-man was definitely active and aggressive, though it was quickly smashed apart. Beck, injured in the ordeal, was the least fortunate of the trio as the boat was soon capsized by a zombie shark, which honed in on his bleeding form. Pab and Sirru swam back to the boat and got on top as they watched Beck get ripped apart, eventually defeating it by throwing things at it repeatedly. Once Beck's chunky remains were looted, they sailed back to Dralhearth to inform the mayor that undead were around in addition to people going missing.
Asking the mayor for where they could buy magic items, he recommended they try the local alchemist and inform the man they were after 'imported goods'. They did so, being let in to the basement, only for the apothecary to apologise and shut them down there. It seemed likely that they were the imported goods in question. They soon found out why the walls seemed like a cage too - a shady incorporeal predator, felid in appearance, stalked out and started to slash into them. Pab managed to withstand it's attacks but Sirru quickly dropped, his mind a mess as the undead creature's touch warped it with insanity. Pab remained on the defensive, setting the undead on fire and waiting till it burned to death whilst fending off it's attacks as best he could. Once it expired, he climbed back up the ladder only to find that the alchemist had gathered his important belongings and fled, leaving the store unattended. It seemed disappearances were remarkably common in Dralhearth.
