Previously, an avatar of a being calling itself 'The One' has given the Champions of Orr a small fragment of its being and the knowledge that it is possible to travel the Planescapes. However, when they try to simply wave the devices they had found around or use the Fragments in the Aetherlands, nothing much happens. The group realizes that while they may have the key ingredients necessary, they may have to fashion a spell themselves, but not just any spell. This spell is going to take some serious power and the group of them working together to pull off, if it's possible at all.
In this session the group will be exploring the methods for creating such a spell and how to use the ingredients to reach the desired outcome.
Rewards: CL per 3,000 words, rewards max at 2x CL (for 6,000 words). Influence awarded for extra effort. Each participant must remain active once they reach the word limits (you can't just reach right around 3,000/6,000 and then stop posting) or risk losing the reward. Posts should be at least a few sentences and should work to progress the story. Describing your character's attire or the results of a spell is fine, but continuously posting the same basic details is not.
I'll be responding to the posts and, if necessary, moving the story forward once every few days. Depending on the level of involvement the session could be over within a few days, but (unless everyone's fully engaged and enjoying the session) I aim to have everything completed within the next two weeks.
