Colossus, Talon, and Taicho found some posters that were hiring for people to help clear out an island called Chapune of threats. The group got on a boat heading there and began discussing how to best steal the boat they were on. After a while of talking they decided that trying to steal the boat might be a bad idea, so they canceled that idea and just waited to get to Chapune. After getting to Chapune the three met up with Fenix and Kanir and talked about where they should go to kill monsters. They decided to go to the plains to hunt. After walking about an hour, Colossus almost fell into a crevice but managed to jump back in time to avoid falling. After staring into the hole for about 15 minutes, the group decided to keep going through the plains.
After a bit of walking, the group stumbled upon a trapped elk. While investigating, a group of goblins jumped out from trapdoors in the ground to ambush the party. Taicho then cut most of them in half with his katana, and the other four finished the goblins off. The group gathered the goblin heads and the elk head and returned to the Wayward Path Outpost to claim their reward.
