Excuse my quick description, I will add more tomorrow if needed since currently I should be asleep for work. I won't name locations as to avoid conflicting stories with GMs.
Jacob was born and raised in a small town in a mountainous area. He grew up exploring the mountain tops and creating maps for his town of the changing area, whether it be changes by nature itself or changes due to people moving in or out of the area. He was satisfied doing this, being able to explore and support his family, until a portion of his town was destroyed during a massive earthquake.
Though it was not his fault Jacob still beats himself over it, especially since he was unable to help his family in their time of need. While some people would let this drive them into a depression, never to explore or work in that field again, Jacob did not let that sink in. Instead he now is headed out for adventure in hopes to help other's families in a way he couldn't help his own.
LOOKS AND PERSONALITY
Jacob is a man of slightly smaller than average height, standing at about 5'6-5'8" and lean. Although he is thin he is in great physical shape. He has short brown military cute hair and blue eyes. His facial features make him look slightly younger than his actual age of 22, somewhere between 16-19. He is open and friendly but that should not be mistaken for weakness, in combat he is quick and good at singling out opponents who are not aware of his presence. He smiles often, drinks socially, laughs loudly, and loves to tell stories and share local information with others who care to divulge. He does not mind working small jobs for free or for food, money is worth little to him.
