Character Name: Talon Mallor
Character & Description:
Talon Mallor normally wears his traveler's outfit as he looks for adventuring work, keeping his hood up when he can. Those who either catch glimpses of his face, or see him with his hood down, would see an older man who nearly constantly wears a frown on his face. Standing taller than average for a male human, but not towering, he has a rather average build. He keeps his dark brown hair cut short, almost never past his ears, and keeps a clean-shaven face. When his arms and legs would be uncovered, there would be a number of tattoos of various designs on the man's skin.
Background Information:
Growing up Talon was raised, as many children in the city, in an orphanage. The Mallor House as it was called, from which he got his surname, was run by an elderly wizard and his familiar. As he grew he found work as a laborer, and as he reached his early twenties began an apprenticeship under a tattoo artist. As he he reached his mid to late twenties, he found a wife, and became happily married. By the age of thirty, he had to young sons and a small house to call his own. Then everything came crashing down. Late one evening, after the family had gone to bed, a band of thugs broke into the house. He tried to defend his family, but one good hit to the side of his head sent him tumbling down like a sack of rocks. He awoke later, head pounding, to find his wife dead of a slit throat, his paltry life savings gone, and his two sons gone. He stumbled his way to the guards, but they failed to find anything of note. Leaving his house behind, he began wandering the streets for a year, begging for enough to get his next meal, or drink. Then, one evening, he was approached by a hooded man who offered him wealth, power, and most importantly, something to live for once more. He agreed, and joined a Cult of Charon, the Horseman of Death. There he was trained in the Dark Arts of Necromancy, along with rudimentary self-defense with a heavy crossbow and daggers. After four long years of training, he was permitted to begin self-study. He set off to look for adventuring work, to increase his own dark powers.
