History: Delarik Lyrakyiae has been a wanderer for as long as he can remember. At a very young age he was left alone due to unknown circumstances, with nothing more than a simple flute serving to keep him company. As he grew older, he found that his music had the power to change people in subtle ways, usually for the better, and it was this ability that lead to his adoption.
While wandering around a small town one day, the local guard came under attack by a group of bandits. At first, it appeared as if the bandits would emerge victorious, but Delarik began playing his flute, trying all he could to empower the guard. Emboldened by the impromptu performance, the guard gained that extra edge they needed to push back the bandits. When the dust cleared and the sound of combat was long faded, a member of the guard took the boy under her wing and trained him in the art of swordplay.
Unfortunately, his proficiency with weaponry left much to be desired, though he discovered a strange talent with the Estoc, as well as a well of power within him that he could channel through his blade. In addition to this, years of training in the martial arts helped him to come in to his latent bardic abilities. Now, with both sword and music serving to embolden him, he took off once more to find both adventure and fame.
