Character Name: Amant Syrinx (ah-mant sear-inx)
Character Description: Amant is on the tall end for a kobold, with a lightly muscled, svelte build. He has olive-toned scales, lightening to brown/tan over the torso. Mottled brass scales edge around the eyes and over the chest, arms, and shins. He prefers to dress in style, and often has bands or small tinkets wrapped around the swept-back ridges on his head.
Background: The Syrinx clan of kobolds near Orashar are no strangers to magical aptitude, and boast a number of potent sorcerers and vibrant scales - making fair (If unproven) claims on dragon blood. While several live underground, a notable number occupy the forests above, traveling downwards to visit family and trade with the duergar from time to time.
Amant had neither powerful sorcery nor bright, chromatic scales, likely from the "forest" part of the family's intermarriage with nearby tribes. This wasn't unusual, and bore no ill will ("We can't all be sorcerers" mused an elder once). This mix of genetics did give him a somewhat rare attribute locally: physique. Amant discovered he was popular with most of the ladies that didn't bury their snouts in a book or a set of trap-gears. Good thing too, as he never picked up on trapmaking or higher sorcery. He did inherit some magical ability, however. With this is trained his tongue, making his way with words. He might have done more if not for occasional bouts of indolence. Having little interest in traps, and an effective cap on magical ability, he was in a sort of semi-skilled middle ground. He could have found a job and made his way, but the idea of mere mediocrity wasn't his idea of the best outcome. So he set out for this big city called Rook. There had to be something here to pique his interest.
Or maybe he needed some time away after being caught with the duergar merchant's daughter. Depends on who you ask.
Note: Using the new gdoc character sheet due to multiple perform skills
Edit: Initiative was 1 off (And artifact of earlier trait ideas). Fixed on the gdoc itself if that's the only issue.
Edit 2: Fixed initiative, minor changes, re-sent.
