Character Name: Joanna Weil
Character & Description:
Jo's a tad bit on the short side, standing in at only 5'4". However, she's fairly-well muscled as well, though less in the fashion of a well-developed bodybuilder and more in the way of a dedicated runner. Aside from that, though... Well, she's fairly unimpressive (or even unpleasant) to look at. She has virtually no curves to speak of, a near perpetual slouch, she barely takes care of herself most days, and then there's the acid burns running along the left side of her face.
Clothing-wise, Jo wears what are politely known as "rags." She doesn't see the point in spending what little money she's able to get on anything non-essential, and she really does consider her clothes non-essential. In contrast, her weapons and armor are almost meticulously cared for, to the point of possessive obsession.
Background Information:
Jo has been pushed towards magus college all her life. Unfortunately for both the magus college and Jo both, it seemed the girl didn't have a real knack for the spellcasting part of the profession, and she quickly flunked out due to simple lack of interest and aptitude. Unfortunately, her failure in her schooling didn't mean she was exempt from paying back the loans she had to take out in order to attend in the first place, leading her to try and set up a business to sell bows in Rook. Sadly, this wasn't providing nearly enough income, leading Jo to her secondary means of a quick income. Hopefully adventuring will get her out from under her debt....
