About Me:
I am old. Married, 3 kids. 2 of the kids are out of the house. I am a Senior Database administrator. I sit in front of a computer screen all day solving complex problems. I come home from work and do the same. Aside from computer stuff, I practice Archery. I like hiking and long walks on the beach. I am also very sarcastic.
Gaming Experience:
I have played Chainmail, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 3.5 of D&D and Pathfinder. Travelers, GURPS, Boothill and Tunnels and Trolls. And more that I cannot remember.
I have been both a GM and a Player. I have GMed pathfinder before.
I am a bit OCD. (OK more than a bit, but all DBAs are.) So when I run an encounter I will be prepared.
Strengths:
Making a challenging encounter without a TPK. I take the long view. So I will be a round for a for a long while. (Unless I die of of a heart attack.)
Weaknesses:
None. Ok that is not true. I have not studied the Bestiary the way I did in the first and second edition. (I like not knowing what the bad guys can do.) I may get a 3.5 rule confused with a pathfinder rule here and there.
I have not GMed on Roll20 before.
GM Style:
I am heartless. If you do something stupid that should get you killed well the badguys are going to kill you. (Excluding kids.) The players have to learn that sometimes you have to run away. so you can gain levels and get better equipment to kick its butt later.
