In the meantime, Varian takes the letter from Dryth, raises an eyebrow, and hands it to Miere who is presumably sitting down in the chair. "What an odd messenger, he could've delivered it directly..." he murmurs, shrugging.

Miere will shrug in return, and say, "Not everyone knows my appearance. I also don't visit Rook as often as I used to, so it's understandable. I did say to address the reply to Dryth's store, and I do appreciate someone who follows an instruction to the letter, as it were."
Smiling, Miere will open the letter and read it.

Greetings and Salutations to one Miere Klerrin, As I'm certain a man of your clout is aware, the location at which you previously took residence in is now mine, and I'm currently in the process of building a grand estate on the premises. It is excellent to meet you, and I hope that our time together within this world is both fruitful and abundant. If there is anything you would desire, you have only to ask.
Ever Vigilant, Fadil, the Dragonhunter.
Post Script It was not my intent to trouble you through the purchase of this land, it simply seemed to be a great place for an estate of the quality that I desire. If you feel offended, please, inform me as such, and I will do as I need to, in order to make amends. Additionally, if you wish to write to me directly, you have only to address something to the estate, and it will reach my eyes.

After doing some research Dryth has learned that every single noble of note within Rook received a letter, except for anyone associated with House Malfuron. In addition, the curse that was repeated was popular in Cloud City about a year ago but that is all the information Dryth has been able to uncover.

Alby hears of the new building that is under construction and begins to head there. She might learn something new to add to her study of engineering. Alby is in fancy clothes but seems to be a bit wispy, almost as if she isn't all there. She also seems to have a faint bubble of air/force around her. As she approaches she will look around at the construction. (Take 10 on Knowledge Engineering for a 24, does Alby notice anything unique or eye catching with her knowledge of engineering?)
Alby will greet the first person that seems to be working there with an excited "Hiya!"

Rainen will pop in to Dryth's shop, joining the group that seems to be assembling there. Having already been brought up to speed telepathically, he begins abruptly. "So, I hear you found yourselfs a vaguely mysterious land owner? I stopped by myself awhile ago but didn't bother to look in to the place much. Want me to do some digging?"

Miere will show the letter to the other with an amused smile and say, "It seems like he penned most of this before reading my letter to him, otherwise he'd already know I requested a meeting and certainly don't mind him having that land. I no longer have any claim to it after all."
Turning to look at Rainen, Miere will nod. "By all means Rainen, just don't inadvertently electrocute the new residents or break too many laws whilst you're at it." he'll say with a grin. "As Varian has mentioned I didn't leave anything behind there, and the letter suggests he chose it for the same reason I did. That is to say, a good location."

With the sort of things he's used to, Varian takes a moment to say "It would probably be good to avoid any literal digging around the site, at least for the moment. If he has the magical or economic power to ensnare and magically ward his workers and estate, it's, as I'm sure you know, a good bet that confronting him without a collective could be a bad idea, not to mention trespassing." Having said that, Varian will search the vast storehouses of his mind for any references to Fadil the Dragonhunter.
"Well, as far as I can recall at least, he didn't exist before three weeks ago when he came to Rook. Either that or he's a particularly secretive man, not who he says he is, or otherwise has gone to fairly considerable lengths not to be known I suppose," he says after a few moments in recollection.

Alby is almost outright ignored by a worker, who flags down the foreman. A robust Human of about 40 years apporaches. "Well, Hi yourself, I'm George, the Foreman of this site, what can I do for yah?" Notable is that the construction materials are seem to be of the finest quality. the estate is clearly being built at an incredibly high price, and the level of workmanship is exquisite.
