Welcome to the April update. Been a bit of a while, but things are still ticking along in the background.
Races
Somewhat appropriately, the Hobgoblins have snuck in as an available race, largely based in the small horse-marked encampments spread around outside Rook, with a larger group situated in Nyhavn.
World Plot and Arcs
This weekend sees the conclusion of the first chapter of the Prophecy of the Pouring Reign, with machinations and happenstance from the shadows culminating in the remarkably negative view of 'adventurers' within Rook. The signup thread is here - dragonsgate.boards.net/thread/3093/community-event-prophecy-pouring-reign so feel free to signup and take part in a session that helps shape the world DG lives in! If you have a character that's not quite in a level bracket for those sessions then please feel free to contact Abron, or another of the GMs running, and ask if they'll accommodate you anyway.
The world building team have also been updating the wiki to reflect the (comparatively) recent changes to Freygate thanks to the last few arcs focused on the poor maligned city state. Tharrus, it's former ruler, is no more according to a small team of strong adventurers and governance of the city is in an uneasy balance between the older undead denizens and the various occupying forces. With Tharrus being revealed to be somewhat evil in his methodology, suspicion has been cast over all his creations no matter their actions, and the ambient tension is only barely being maintained.
The Wiki
Work has been started on migrating our current wiki to a fully functioning paid-for wiki. Abron and Haskalah are spearheading this, and other members of the world builders are continunig to flesh out groups, parts of the world and happenings to continue to build DG's rich backstory. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions for what they would like on the DG wiki, please contact either Abron or Haskalah who'll be happy to discuss it with you.
To summarize then, Hobgoblins have been unlocked, part of the world plot is concluding soon and a new wiki is being worked on. See you guys next announcement!
