ABOUT ME
I am 23yo and have been GM'ing for most of the last three years. I enjoy playing and running games about equally and find that improving in one side improves play on the other. I currently Run a Tuesday game at my college and a Wednesday game in roll 20 that is running rise of the runelords. Both groups have 4-6 players and that is around where I am comfortable running as a GM. I have played a variety of game systems including Traveller, 3.5E, PF, Mutants and masterminds, Dark heresy, Deathwatch, Paranoia and FATE.
Why I want to gm for dragonsgate
I have noticed an imbalance of players to GM's and would like to help address that issue. Additionally I love to set a scene for my players and insure everyone has a fun time. Running sessions is as fun as playing to me and this would help me to get more familiar with the dragonsgate community.
Strengths and weaknesses
I feel like I am a strong roleplayer and while hosting a game can describe a scene very well and show players the vibrant world around them full of characters with different personalities. I am very familiar with the D20 system and Pathfinder in particular. I do however have a difficult time managing players who are overly loud and disruptive. This is an area that I am focusing on improving on.
Goals if I am made a GM
I would like to show players a different side of rook and explore areas that others have not. Giving players opportunities to patrol the docks or head to the countryside to deal with a troll for example would expose players to different kinds of NPC's and provide more life to Rook and the surrounding lands.
Errata:
I would love to GM for dragonsgate and feel like it would improve myself as a GM and Player to be around such a varied group of people. Additionally I am free most of the week and weekend and am on at hours that I have noticed many GM's currently are not. I could even host games for european players should the demand be high enough.
