Are we allowed to combine magical items with the +50% cost on the second one as per crafting rules or are we allowed only base items?
basically: p.e. blinkback belt has the property of throwing stuff and those returning to you belts are the only slot for physical enchantment bonuses
can one combine them for blinkback blt (cost 5000gp) belt of giant strength +2 (4000gp)
to blinkback belt of giant strength +2? (5000+4000*1.5=11k gp)
or if one wants to use a different cloak than resistance, a diffeernt belt than str/dex/con and a different headband than int/wis/cha then he is hosed? and needs to forfeit the resistance/enchantment bonuses?

As of right now it's just printed magic items. Personally I like this rule though and used it pretty extensively in my 3.5 games, so I'll poke the others and see what they think.

I talked with nos and this is one of the versions of item creation he wasn't bothered by but he is also talking about overhauling a lot of the system so it would be best to hold of doing anything like that for now.

I also like this rule, and I can't find any method by which it could be abused, so I think it should be allowed.
