Character Name: Shunryu (name taken to honor training, never speaks of his given name)
Shunryu’s father was Elven and his mother was human, at a young age his father was killed, and along with his mother and 2 younger sisters went to live in a monastery, where his mother was a cook. He took well to the monastic training and enjoyed his time there studying under Master Shodo. As he transitioned into young adulthood he started to wonder about the world at large.
One night the monastery was attacked and his mother and sisters were killed. Master Shodo was severely wounded and taken by the intruders. This left Shunryu with no one at the Monastery and he decided that he would leave the monastery and search for Master Shodo. For a year he attempted to find him, however the trail as gone cold and he fears that something has happened and Master Shodo has died.
This has led Shunryu to Rook hoping that he can find out more information.
Shunryu dresses in monk garb and travels light, relying on himself for survival. To honor his training he keeps his head shaved.
