Character name: Eric Armash
Character and Description:
Medium build, black hair, blue eyes. Usually found in his suit of armor. He carries with him the air and looks of a man once noble. He is usually found in his suit of armor, carrying weapons and his shield on his back. His steed, Linthen, is a large charger covered in armor. Both Eric's and Linthen's armor is in good shape, but shows clear signs of being used.
Background information (short version; long version can be posted upon request, but I was going to save it for his character bio):
The eldest son of a noble family, Eric grew up learning many things - swordsmanship, horsemanship, the art of conversation, languages, respect, honor....but none of these prepared him for what happened when he was but a young teenager. He witnessed his father - the head of the family, and a well-liked and well-respected member of the community - murdered at the hands of a Paladin. No one believed what he had witnessed, though, and his father's murder has - to this day - remained 'unsolved'.
Without his father's connections, influence, and business-savvy, the noble house eventually started falling on hard times. Today, it remains a shell of what it once was. Eric joined the Order of the Sword as a Cavalier, hoping to make use of his excellent swordsmanship and horsemanship (which he had been trained since birth) to help people, bring about the truth of his father's murder, and restore his family's previous honor and prestige. Although it has not been long since he has joined the Order, he has already had several successes (including defending a town, finding lost children, and even saving a coven of innocent witches).
Now, the Order has granted Eric the right to pursue his own quest. For Eric, deciding this quest was simple: he would track down the Paladin who slew his father and find out the truth. Why would a Paladin - a warrior of truth and justice - strike down his father? Was the Paladin at fault? Was there more to his father than he knew? The truth needed to be known - for either way, the revelations to be discovered could be both unsettling and huge.
To this end, Eric Armash finds himself arriving in Rook. A member of his order said that it would be a good place to start, although that member did fail to mention why....
Eric's surviving family - his mother (Rebecca Armash) and younger brother (Leon Armash) - are keeping the family (or what is left of it) going while Eric works as a Cavalier.
