I was reading through the rules for the Soul Hunter, and I came across an apparent contradiction:
Under the Soul Claiming ability, it says "If the Claimed target is slain (reduced to 0 or fewer hit points) by the Claiming soul hunter, then he may recover his Wisdom modifier in expended maneuvers."
The Combat Insight alteration says "At 12th level, whenever he reduces a Claimed target to 0 hit points or less, he may recover an expended maneuver."
I think the only way to read that which makes sense is that the Soul Hunter must actually kill his target (i.e. HP < -CON, not just <= 0) for the full maneuver recovery, but can get the single recovery with just a KO.
Does anyone else interpret it differently?
