ME
I am 51 years old male and have been a Game Master for 30 years now. I started at 1st ed. and have game mastered up to 4th ed. I do like to play, but love to DM. The Idea of helping a player create a character story based on his or her adventures that he or she can talk about for years to come truly appeals to me all because I have helped create these memories.
Great At
I am great at thinking on my feet which allows the party to take a left instead of the right in an adventure and still keep them on track within the outline of the planned quest. To me prewritten adventures are just an outline to guide me, the PC are the one who create the adventure. I like to run a balanced role playing and encounter adventure. The role playing can actually lead to future adventures which is a great asset to me and a story line to the PC's
Need to Work at
At times I tend to make the encounter a little to difficult for the party and have to make adjustments during the game to make the encounter more balanced. Also currently I am new at the d20 roll table and pathfinder, but I am a quick learner and so far I have been having a lot of fun with my Saturday Night Group using Pathfinder using the d20 table.
Goals
I would love to introduce the PC to the NPC leaders in Dragon Gate. Being a Birthright DM I have run number of adventures where the PC will rub elbows with Kings, Queens, leaders of trade guilds, High priest, and wizards. Also the building of small keeps retaining henchmen at higher levels brings a whole new dynamic to the game allowing the PC’s to spend their hard earned money that they would normally not have anything else to spend it on.
