Rose Garden Massacre

Just yesterday, on the 28th of Reaping, a group of unknown adventurers were killed on the grounds of the local chapter of the Black Thorn Knights. The adventurers, new to this line of work, were allegedly hired by a local alchemist to retrieve a number of black rose buds from the headquarter's garden. Their employer, an alchemist by the name of Natani Cromanser, had no comment as to the purpose of the rose buds. (Written by Rocshaa)
We were, however, able to hold a short interview with the chapter's overseer, Crunch Bimbleton. This is what he had to say about the incident:
"I don't know what those people were stealing from me for. I don't know why they needed my roses. I don't know why they attacked me when I told them the roses belonged to me and were not theirs to take. What I do know are the crimes they committed: trespassing, attempted theft, and assault with lethal weapons. I was within my right to kill them when I saw them cutting my roses apart. I gave them the chance to leave, and [the adventurers] chose to throw my mercy in my face. I feel no remorse for my actions."
Bodies of four adventurers were found at the scene, their gore covering the path through the garden, though strangely enough the roses remained clean. Three were dead from traumatic body wounds, with the fourth dead from blood loss from having his hands cut off. Mr. Cromanser has stated that he hired five adventurers, though this alleged fifth is nowhere to be found.
