Trade Ship Attacked
Today, the fourteenth of Reaping, a trade ship running cargo between Rook, Nyhavn and Port Derry was attacked. While the perpetrator was unknown, bystanders were vehement in that they saw many unusually dressed individuals, including one who seemed to have been wearing full plate armor. A reporter was sent to the neighboring village of Nyhavn in order to see if it's mayor, Rainen, one of the few remaining heroes of Rook, had any comments. The only response we managed to obtain was, "[expletive] is getting on my nerves." The reporter was then forcibly teleported to the doorstep of Commander Bergstein, where an hour long discussion followed. The results of said discussion can be simplified to the following quote, provided by the great Commander himself, "The adventurers of Rook have always been a powerful ally when the need arises. It is unfortunate that some of their number are intent on being in the employ of less reputable groups and individuals."
For his closing thoughts, the reporter on the scene was adamant that, while his thoughts on the hero Rainen were less then stellar, once he took a minute to apologize and offer to transport the reporter wherever he needed to go, our reporter was thoroughly convinced that the title of hero was indeed deserved.
