Stay with me here I would be happy to play other races but there is a concept I have been dying to do and this is the perfect place to do it (a living game). The idea is a Kitsune Barbarian who mainly stays in foxshape and masquerades as an evil or at least chaotic aligned wizards familiar. I have already read about the multiple attacks rule and that is fine for this concept as overall its fairly weak till later on relying very strongly on its barbarian rage powers to give it the features it needs to be effective.
All the content I need really is official Paizo (tho the favored class listed on the d20pfsrd sure would be nice)
I feel like I would almost be 'cheating' if I played anything else and retired it once kitsune became available.
So anyword on them as a potential race in the setting?

There are no plans to ever introduce Kitsune as a playable race.

Ah alright wanted to be sure before I make a character. Thanks for the reply The mainstay goal was to use the rage totems/bloodlines as flavor and make a "tank" familiar as a barbarian. It is easy enough to just play a druid or some other class that can transform. I saw the templates and wanted to go half-fiend or shadow touched with the idea rather than get werebear/wolf. Once again thanks for the response.
