aka (int) magicMissile and ICastIntValue
Playing: Evard Malos (aka Ming the Merciless)
I've played a few games now and it's ignited the urge to DM in me. I've DMed a LOT in the past (a good chunk of which has been Pathfinder) and I'd like to think I'm really quite good at it.
Strengths
Weaknesses
What I'd Bring
A strong, quick game running, invent stuff on the fly style of GMing that would mean I could get a game set up in under 15 minutes and make a game fun for about an hour or two.
Also, I'm on GMT and that means I'm on when the other GMs ain't.

I've played a few games now and it's ignited the urge to DM in me. I've DMed a LOT in the past (a good chunk of which has been Pathfinder) and I'd like to think I'm really quite good at it.
Strengths
- Improvisational Mastery: I can make up situations as I go along, and tie together random stuff I threw in into an overarching plot. I did a RuneQuest campaign set in the Dragon Pass area of Glorantha, and every single session I ran without preparation or planning. The players never even noticed.
- Speedy Gonzalez: My sessions run VERY fast. I expect players to have their turns ready as soon as I get to them, and they have 10 seconds or less to decide on what move they want to make. This results in a lot getting done in a short period of time.
- Extensive Rules Knowledge: I know a good chunk of the rules. I wouldn't say I know ALL of the rules (mainly because that's nearly impossible in Pathfinder), but I know enough to make a game quick and effective.
- Good at "Focused" Games: I am good at alignment-focused or goal-focused games (ie games where everyone is Lawful Good, or Lawful Evil, or seeking to work together for the good of a church). I am exceptionally good at these.
Weaknesses
- Too Nice: I have a tendency to be far too lenient towards players, and rule in their favour more than I should.
- Time, University & Girlfriends: I basically am completely unable to run at the same time every week, due to the simple fact that I have a schedule involving a girlfriend and university. LUCKILY, this does lend itself to the Living Campaign methodology.
- Love 4 3rd Party & Homebrew: I love homebrew and 3rd party (especially Psionics). I just feel that they add too much to the game to be ignored. Probably won't be a major issue considering the rules in place, but expect me to be running constant psionic-only games if it ever gets implemented.
