Hello there! I just signed up today and I'm super interested in making a character. However, before I do so, I was hoping to see if there might be any other potential players who would like to collaborate on character concepts. I can see this is meant to be a big, living, setting and, in a way, I would like to contribute to that. Essentially, I want to develop some kind of in game family. Maybe it's a dwarven clan, a halfling family, or maybe even a ratfolk warren! The race is less important than the idea of creating a community of sorts.
Would anyone else be interested?

I could be up for it. Already have a dwarf so I'm less inclined towards it vs. other ideas.
A pair of ratfolk rouges (or similar) with sneak attack could be really potent with the swarming ability.
Jump on IRC sometime and we can figure something out.

I would be up for the ratfolk idea, I even already have one going. Sadly if you wanted everyone to start from level 1 together then I wouldn't be able too since I can only have the one.

a family of witches with the coven hex could also be interesting, as could a group of half orc barbarians.

We were discussing the idea of a married couple who were casters, cleric and wiz most likely. But we haven't got actual characters out yet. Interested in other ideas if a third wants to join us.
I am particularly interested in the idea of a third to create a witches coven, though I am at a loss as to how we get over the hag requirement early game.
Considering the sheer number of martials in the game, especially at low levels, I'm less inclined towards the orc-barbs. Though the massive number of neat feats and teamwork options available could make it an interesting play. Biggest concern in this case would be making any party we are in off-balanced because we would have so much meat and so little anything else. But I think that this is likely a more viable option than the ratfolk rogues option, as they lacked any sort of staying power.

I don't know about a hag early game but the caster level boost is still very useful at that point for sending out big ticket spells and a group of witches laying on debuffs is always nasty, late game (around level 8) an iron necklace of the unbound covenant is certainly a valid option in lieu of a hag (I've asked before and we won't get a hag naturally, that necklace is totally legal though)

I just sent in my character application for a very interesting Halfling... if you wanted to play one of his many relatives that would be a lot of fun...

After looking at some of the teamwork feats, I think Openeye and I would be very interested in a group of half-orc barbarians. Of course, I also like the witches coven idea too.
