Introductory Notes:
I am a published novelist of fantasy works and an ex-GM. As such, I have grown an interest in writing and taking more of an active role for DG as time has gone forward. Due to this I had chosen to speak with Geckilian, who then suggested I apply to be a GM and World Builder. Since I am intending on GMing again; an important note is that I am notorious for running strictly 18+ games, usually due to notable gore and violence that predicates my games. Finally, I would like to note that I am also interested in becoming a "world builder" in tandem with becoming a GM.
Strengths:
I am an experienced GM and understand the fundamentals of running a game. Also, due to my novelist background, I tend to be a stickler for good, well written stories. Thus, the games I tend to run will reflect this ideal. I have been told by past players that I have a knack for planning interesting ad well thought out traps and encounters. though these creatures and traps also tend to be home brewed (hopefully this wont be to much of an issue).
Weaknesses:
Though I am an ex-GM; I am a bit rusty since I haven't GM'd in roughly two years. I am completely unfamiliar with how Roll20 works, or any online GMing for that matter. English is a second language for me, so sometimes I may trip up or stall when I speak, usually this is because I am trying to recall the correct words to say in a situation. However, this tends to of little to no issue when GMing, though I felt it necessary to point this issue out anyways. I am also currently unfamiliar with the new occult classes. Lastly, I have a notoriously short patience for any "power gamers" or cheaters and when faced with one, will react appropriately (non-violently). Though I am unsure if one would be able to cheat or "power game" in a place like DG.
