After gathering data from the initial batch of templated PCs, and talking to players/GMs, Saint Yin, Tkul, Geckilian, and I have rewritten the templates to lower the overall power, while providing more "active" abilities. In addition to re-balancing the existing templates, we've added a neutral outsider template, and a Fey template. We're currently in the process of adding generic and racial paragon templates, for players that like their character, but don't want to be left behind by templated PCs. Perhaps Greenbound could use a way to force a creature to ingest its fermented fruit, for example a ranged touch attack or even regular ranged attack to hit the creatures mouth (if it has one) with the fruit and thus force it to ingest some of the fermented fruit and take the dex dmg. Otherwise i cant see fruit greenbound ever getting its dex dmg off without say beguiling gift. It may be nice to make the Death Knights phantom steed slightly harder to kill with more Hp, may i suggest giving it half or even 3/4 of the death knights Hit points, as it stands the most it will ever have is 27 HP at level 20, well within everything one shot range. Making it slightly more durable would make it usable for the death knight in actual combat, perhaps giving it the DK's saves -2 as well would make it able to survive an enemies sneeze. As is the phantom mount probably wont survive to let the DK use any of his neat mounted combat feats. Also a question can a DK use his phantom steed feats to qualify for spirited charge while on his Mount, in a similar way to a druid using his wildshape to qualify for multi attack while wild shaped. For the hero and fiend templates may i suggest the addition of Kami Heritages paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/bestiary3/kami.html and Rakshasa or oni respectively www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/outsiders/rakshasa, www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/outsiders/oni just to give some cool native outsider options. camilotordjman.titanpad.com/17 here is my own suggestion for the rakshaka template Query: does the ant wtw ability stack with ant haul? |

since it is rather unlikely for most characters to have a high charisma (especially the exemplars and half fiends) and many of the spell like abilities in exemplar, half fiend and half celestial have saving throws which would be depressingly low for most characters i would like to make a motion that they are made to either be based the highest stat of the template user or at least that they be given to choose a stat/mental stat for it to be based off. This i feel would make these templates alot more martial friendly.
