Background Information:
A young disciple of one of the Seven Sword Saints of The Imperial Palace of the Sun, Aut'Auri has already spent decades in daily training and sparring with the weapon chosen for him by his Mistress during his Induction, when he slew the boy he once was to become the man he is now. However, months ago, he was visited by a powerful, blazing vision of his Goddess, her fiery magnificence so overwhelming that, in his rapture, he plucked out one of his eyes, so that it might never again be sullied by witnessing anything less than the beauty of His Lady Herself. Speaking in the quiet place of his soul, Shizuru whispered to Aut'Auri the secret behind his golden eyes and ability to see light even in the darkness, the truth that he bears Her blood as surely as the Emperor himself, might he live forever.
However, his destiny, made clear to him by the Radiant Empress of Heaven, is not to rule on earth, nor to serve as guardian to the line of the Emperor, might he live forever. With a touch of his brow that seared the skin and permanently put Her blazing warmth into his soul, She bade him go forth from the Empire of the Crystal Forest, far from the lands known to his people, and follow the path She has laid for him, though it may never again return him to his home. Promising only strife, war, and danger along the way, the Almighty Goddess of the Sun cast him forward, her instrument in lands that know not Her name, seeking enemies he knows not, to work a purpose he does not understand, having only his instinct, his faith, and the power of his blade to guide him. But with the Goddess in his heart, he is happy in his endless wandering.
His path has now brought him to the city, seeking swordsmen to challenge, evil and injustice to fight, and glory to accrue to his name and the name of Shizuru, the Lady of the Sun.

A brief description of your favorite play-style:
I like a good mix of combat and roleplay for the most part, probably around 50:50. I'm familiar with the combat mechanics and I like playing melee characters so I enjoy having access to the map and using the tactical rules, but I also really like getting into my character and getting to play him with other PCs and NPCs too. I suck at puzzles and riddles.
