From what I have seen there appears to be nothing in dragonsgate relating to the mythic mechanic. In response I am suggesting the addition of the mythic tier system. Simply put, the mythic tier system would work the same way that the template system does. The difference being that a player would need to play 10 "attunement" games and pay an amount of gold in order to gain each tier separately. From what I have been able to gather, there are only a few people who have any templates as is, so it can be expected that not many will attain any of these tier's, which would help with balancing, especially since the real power of the mythic tier's comes into play later on in the system, however, having the higher tiers available would also help award those who have the conviction to reach such goals. To show the figures involved, if someone wanted to reach mythic tier 10 then, assuming the gold cost is 50,000 just like a template, they would have to play 100 games without gaining experience and pay a total of 500,000 gold, which I believe is a suitable hurtle in order to attain such a level that most, if not all, players will not attain.
- I understand that there are also mythic items that go correspond to the tier system, however, I believe that should be a discussion for another time, assuming the tier system is implemented to begin with.
- I also believe that the template and tier system should be separate, this would allow a greater freedom for players to build their characters using this system.
- Moreover, I believe this to be suitable as "premium" content for the game. (only 1 character per player is able to have mythic tier's)
