Hi there,
So... this is a silly question really, but I want to know how you guys would rule this.
So the ruling on having living beings in a bag of holding is that they would only survive 10 minutes before suffocating. Now, what I want to know is that, hypothetically, if I had sea water in a bag of holding and I decided to store.. living fish in the bag, would you rule the suffocation rule as longer of shorter, or would you not be able to store liquid in a bag of holding?
Get back to me when ever I can, 'tis is but a silly question.

Fish still need oxygen, they just get it from the water. I'd rule the suffocation time is the same.

Going for the biology angle, water stores far more oxygen, think the goldfish you can win at a fair. I think the time's finite, but the bag seems to assume you use up the oxygen in the air in 10 minutes. A bag mostly filled with water, biologically speaking, should keep fish for several hours. www.fishlore.com/fishforum/freshwater-beginners/158393-how-long-can-fish-survive-store-bag.htmlThough it's still fair to say (and to keep it simple) that a BoH works specifically as noted with a 10-minute limit.

Correct Hask, I just really didn't feel like doing the math to figure out exactly how much oxygen would be in the water. Thus the simpler ruling.
