Since we don't really have an active one, I figured I'd start up a thread for people to introduce themselves (with pictures!) if they want. I'm one of the leads here, and I tend to focus on running games for the higher levels, though now I actually have an alt again I've started running lower games too. Been part of DG from pretty much the beginning as I joined in the second week or so when details were still being hammered out for how this place was going to run, and took part in the initial brainstorming. Outside of DG as expected I enjoy tabletop roleplaying games and favour D&D retroclones like Labyrinth Lord or Lamentations of the Flame Princess. What I enjoy running the most though are indie games, like Lacuna, Don't Rest Your Head, All Flesh Must Be Eaten, Dread, Cold City, Puppetland and so on, though I do partake in other more well known games such as the 40k series of games by Fantasy Flight Game and Paranoia, dallied a bit in Corporation and WoD etc. I'm an avid wargamer, though these days tend to prefer skirmish systems since a smaller warband is more enjoyable and manageable compared to large armies these days - I especially like Infinity where I own a silly number of Nomads, and I enjoy various other homebrew systems such as Inquisimunda and Path to Glory. Though I may not look it I'm 26 and have been wargaming and roleplaying since I was about 10, which seems a pretty standard age to start from the people I know and mix with in my old University's gaming group which I still regularly attend and run campaigns at. I do enjoy the convenience of roll20, but for me nothing much beats hanging out with friends around an actual table and messing about as we game. Speaking of uni, I graduated years ago with a 2:1 in Psychology with Cognitive Science BSc (Hons) and enjoyed the course, though from what I've seen and heard in DG I appear to be outnumbered by programmers and lawyers. Since I'm starting this off, here's a picture - So after that spiel, who are all you guys, and who's brave enough to post their face on the forum?

That's one hell of a post geck But, Ill follow ya up: I am not a lead, on the contrary, but I managed to become a GM in DG, actually my first GM-ing ever, and have joined since, *looks at profile* 26 march. My first game ever here actually was already an intense one having one of the players die, but it drawed me into DG, and I love it here. Outside of DG, Im a math student, and have basically loved puzzling and strategizing for whole my life. Actually starting with stuff like pokemon since I was 4, Im a pretty dedicated gamer, though, I like to see myself as a special snowflake, as outside of gaming, I love to go out, drink tons of beer with my friends, go to awesome party's, and most of all, I love the sun in the summer, and chose any activity involving humans probably over gaming. Im sure I'm not a special snowflake in that though, but as far as living the wild-life is concerned I do have incredible stamina, sometimes being able to stay up for over 50 hours without really dropping my concentration (granted, this does involve staying active and not sitting still). On my gaming: As I said, started with pokemon when I was 4, started playing stuff like Medal of Honor, Resident Evil and Command and Conquer. Basically always have been a person who plays war-games, and once I started studying I started playing Magic the Gathering, and started trying to make videos on games I played, though now that I don't have a desktop that doesn't really work properly. The games I currently play involve mostly incredible flexibility as it allows me to fully exploit my capability of seeing the unseen, so I play games like Path of Exile, Heroes of the Storm, Hearthstone and Borderlands. Yes, that is a wide variety of genres. I also study math, 3rd year of college, but a little bit slow, as I sometimes enjoy life a little too much and forget I need to study. Im more leaning towards the number theory and logica side of math than towards analysis for those who understand, and am a typical math student with regards to their pure desdain towards physics and their inconsistencies (lets keep that discussion somewhere else tho). Most of you know from me that I can get into discussion pretty regularly, and sometimes I view this as a strong side, sometimes as a weak side of me, and I try to work on it as much as possible. But, I also like helping and answering questions and I have a good amount of energy and excitement in me. Guess I have to post a picture too, but... Where is my BB code Let's see if this works:

Why not. Howdy, Im Wizardfrog, I am one of the leads here and I am known to be an avid hater of all things Japanese. I like to run games that are a balance of RP and combat when I do GM, but overall I would rather play in games. Many people call me king of druids, which I feel is well earned considering I have played over a dozen of them to campaign completion. Outside of DG, I like to spend my time in ponds, keeping my skin nice and wet (though its a pain to keep the wizard hat dry) on occasion a dumb princess will smooch me and then I laugh at her but that's getting rarer these days. I am a decent wizard, but its a hard career path for a frog, pretty much impossible to perform somatic components (and type) but I manage just fine. Currently I am studying Frog law and using my wizard abilities to ease my way through school. Pic:

Oh, a thing. Here goes; I was the first plebeian to join this group, and started off having no idea how to Pathfinder. A few weeks later I learned the system well enough to feel up to the challenge of become a GM, and now I am in a deadlocked struggle for running the most games. (Though I'm almost positive I've fallen quite far behind due to a massive decrease in games run in recent weeks) In addition to that, I probably hold the title for having taken part in the most games, either by playing in or running (at my last count that number was about half of all DG games). Outside of pathfinder and DG, I'm an avid hobbyist and jack of all trades. I've played, operated, and built far too many things to count, both in physical and technological pursuits. As far as jobs go, I've worked as a camp counselor, tour guide, freelancer, teacher, therapist, and I was in the US air-force before going home on medical. Currently, I am in school earning a degree in Game Design with my fields of interest involving virtual reality, augmented reality, and total immersion. (think sword art online but with better graphics and fewer psychotic overlords.) Past that, I'm currently 22 and cursing the heat and my lack of sleep. For some reason I can't put images onto the forums anymore, so here's an IMGUR link: imgur.com/SmpM082

Well, guess I'll be the first non-DM or staff guy to reply. Assuming no one ninjas me. Anyway, I'm Foster. 21 years old, a tender babe compared to a lot of the people I've met here. I've always been a fan of fantasy and videogames, but I never played tabletop until my freshman year of college, which was 2 years ago now. I've been absolutely hooked since my first session. I've never played anything but Pathfinder, and I've DMed one half of a campaign myself. Made up the setting and story, so it didn't go as smooth as it could have, but I digress.
I'm still in college, currently on summer vacation. I've never been employed despite my best efforts, and I'm famous(infamous?) among my friends for being perpetually single. I'm studying a degree called New Media, more or less an art degree focused on technology. I do a lot of animation, 3D modeling, graphic design, and web design in the course of my studies. I don't particularly specialize in any one medium, and I find myself struggling to keep focused on any one project for more than two weeks or so. Regardless, I'm constantly doing one creative thing or another. Unfortunately I don't have the brains for more than rudimentary computer programming, but I use C# often enough.
After college, I want to get a job in the game development industry in either animation, character modeling, or concept art. I'm kind of a Jack of all trades when it comes to that field, so who knows where I'll end up. But as a consequence I'm not as skilled as I could be if I'd just make up my damn mind.
I'm born and raised in the South, but I hardly have an accent and I don't think I fit many stereotypes. Don't even like grits all that much. Too goopy.

I'm Sythus, I'm a 35 year old Sagittarius, stay at home dad, and taxi driver by night. These responsibilities coupled with a myriad of health issues cause me to lead an otherwise boring life. I try to write, and though I do have a few articles floating around on various websites about gaming, or life, my fictional writing is a closely kept secret that I am too embarrassed to reveal. I'm married, with two awesome kids, a four year old daughter, and a six year old son. If ever I have to afk in a hurry, it's probably just for a second, because they need something. I've taught my children to be very independent, which is a double-edged sword, in that they often don't need me to do much, and I get incredibly bored. Probably the reason why you see me lurking so much on IRC, chatting the day away. <---LOL, going to use this to test dynamic lighting Also, this link describes my mind state better than anything I could write here.

Hey guys, I'm Patrick. I'm 24, a Cancer, and an avid gamer. I've played 3.5 for about ten years, Pathfinder for about 5 years, World of Darkness for 8, and I've LARPed for the better part of 5 years now. I live in a crowded house of gamers and don't currently work, so I end up having a lot of free time on my hand to peruse the PFSRD or futz around with Magic: the Gathering. I get confused easily, sometimes don't parse words I'm reading on a screen, and love to make Knowledge checks about *everything*. My out-of-game habits include making ballin' food and treating my cats like royalty.

Oh hi! never noticed this thread. So here goes it: I'm 33y old, i've played various pnp rpgs from like 20 y ago or something like that (no one keeps track in my age^^). I'm patient like a mule, and in order to get me mad you'll have to try really hard... or join a session of mine as a player, MUAXAXAXA. I'm also a chemist, but for the past 8 or so years I've been working one my own shop of making "stuff" (mostly decorative paintings, art and jewerly) which means i have forgotten anything about chemistry except etching metals with acid ^^ Also, i talk. A LOT. Feel free to interupt me. (I try to fix that guys, I swear!). Lastly one of my few rare pics for your viewing pleasure!

You can call me Gaston and i'm pretty fresh to your community. I'm 23, from the UK and I like to roleplay, play video games, listen to (and play) music, exercise and practice martial arts. I mostly play Tabletop games, but I also like Path of Exile and L4D2. Most of my hobby time is simply playing one of the TRPGs, so not much else. I study Fine Art & Illustration at University, and one day I want to be a comic book illustrator; to run my own studio. I learn a little bit of Spanish on the side, but not enough to be fluent or talkative right now. I have strange and dirty senses of humor, but I'm not serious unless I tell you I am. I'm hoping to make a few great characters for your world and perhaps get excited. Here's one of my better selfies:

Hi, my name is Rocshaa. I'm a 20 year old Computer Science major, currently finishing my last year of Community College. I'm a provisional GM. I enjoy running occasionally, but I haven't had the time since school was in. But NOT ANYMORE! My hobbies include playing Magic: the Gathering at school with my friends, though this has been waning steadily since they haven't gotten off of EDH in... ever. I watch a lot of MtG stuff online, especially ChannelFireball. I play copious amount of video games, such as Dark Souls, Pokemon (with Pokemon Showdown), Binding of Isaac Afterbirth, and Faster Than Light. I LOVE a good challenge. I also am a fan of puzzle blocks/puzzle contraptions. I don't know exactly how to describe them, but they're usually metal and you have to slide some number of pieces apart. I've only been playing Pathfinder for... 6 months now? I started on DG and have been the driving force behind my friends picking the game up. I've been GMing a home game for them, but my knowledge of Pathfinder is limited by my exposure to the game (90% of the things Fighter can do to not be terrible). Still... eh? Oh yeah, picture. There ya go, Ken. I ded et.

Alright, I'll go. My name is Brian, I'm 35, I live in Atlanta, and I'm currently employed as a computer engineer/software developer/what have you. I started tabletop gaming as a teenager with Warhammer 40k and Warhammer Quest (anybody remember that one? ) but got out of it after high school when my social group dispersed to various universities. A year or so back I joined a Pathfinder game with a few other folks from work and enjoyed it so much that, after the game ended, I went off in search of another one and eventually wound up here. My hobbies are many and varied. Besides gaming (tabletop and PC), I used to be an avid musician, playing French Horn from about 10 years old to well into adulthood, I hold a private pilot's license and a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and I enjoy many outdoor activities like walking, hiking, and bike riding. These days, though, most of my free time is spent with my wonderful wife and (almost) 2-year-old daughter.

Hi. My name is Jeremy. I'm a dork.
...Well, more of a ham, really.
Anyway, I'm a 31 year-old tech support guy. If you ever have trouble with your iPad, iPod, or iPhone, there's a small chance you might end up having to deal with me. Fair warning.
As for my RPG history, it's not been as long as some others, but it has been pretty sweet. I've been playing D&D for 3 years now, with 4th Edition being my first game. Never gotten to play Pathfinder before (at least, not unless you count the Beginner's Box); closest I've gotten is either DDO, Neverwinter Nights, or 5E. I've also played a little bit of Dungeon World in the past.
The kind of characters I play are all across the board. I've played a simple cocky Drow Fighter, a swashbuckling Half-Elf Hexblade, a matronly Cleric with a bit of an anger management problem, a perky young adult Half-Elf Warden, a snarky British contralto half-elf Warlock, a rogue of noble birth, and 4e interpretation of Beast Wars' Dinobot. And I have voice-acted them all.
I also create content on YT in my off-time, including various builds in 5E made just for fun; my crowning achievement at this point is building a Jedi and a Sith using custom 5E rules (one by someone else, the other by me). But through it all, I've been curious about learning Pathfinder, to the point that I've even bought the CRB...and that is what has lead me here.
If you wanna know what I look like, well... *points over to the avatar, which is a picture of himself due to lack of imagination at the time*

Alright this is kinda cool so I'll do it My name is Aidan Duerr and I'm a Virgo (not that I am big into astrology). I'm 17 and my birthday is September 1st. I live in Tucson Arizona and I'm a junior in high school. I take AP classes but I'm way too lazy for my own good so, I don't do great with the high work load (lol). I have really no idea what I want to do with my life, but I have the rest of this year + next year to figure that out so I'm not worried, plus I'm so ahead I only need two classes next year, which means more fucking around time! I have a lot of things I do to pass the time, because I don't like to do work. Like at all. I watch anime or other shows on Netflix or what have you, I play tons of videogames, I like to read but almost always something fantasy or eastern philosophy, and I love to play games with my friends. We haven't really branched out from 3.5 or pathfinder, rpg-wise but we play a lot of board/card games too! Yu-gi-oh, mtg, catan, superfight, cards against humanity you name it. I really love DG because almost everyone here is super nice, and its just nice to get away from stuff for a while. So I'm hoping that I become a GM soon, if I ever get around to rebuilding my computer. Here is a picture so all of you can judge me.

I'm new here, but eh - why not post something.
I've been gaming really since around middle school when I started with Magic. I don't play anymore but the game still interests me. Just don't have the money to put towards it anymore.
I enjoy tabletop RPing. I started back in high school (late 90's) with a game called "Earthdawn" and played throughout high school. I played DnD a little bit but not much also during that time period. At the end of my junior year, most of the friends I played with left the area and the group disbanded. I didn't play tabletop games again until 2013.
I also played 40K (Eldar) for awhile. I started in high school as well and played until 2004 when I left the area and my friends that played. I still have my army but to be honest, the rules have changed so much that it doesn't even seem interesting to play anymore.
As for me - I am 32 tears old as of this post and live in North Texas. I will be moving in a few months and every few years after that due to the job. Where to? I do not know yet, but that only brings excitement to the whole thing! I have lived in Michigan, Japan, Louisiana, and a few other places. I have completed by BA degree and currently am taking classes towards my masters in engineering management.

Slight Necro, but w/e, my name is AJ, I'm 22, and I live in ABQ, NM. I've been gaming since I was about 12, and I do LARP (MES NWoD and OWoD), as well as tabletop games with my friends, I'm a big fan of brute characters along the lines of Incredible Hulk, or Bane, or Colossus, or The Juggernaut. I work at a computer repair shop, doing small tasks, interspersed with the occasional server repair. Maybe this Picture works, though it's from 4 years ago.

I’m a 28 year old Army Veteran currently residing in the Netherlands (Holland). I played in a pathfinderized version of AEG’s World’s Largest Dungeon for about a year, a few Dnd 3.5 table tops, a little World of Darkness chats, a little this, a little that. I love lore intensive games like skyrim. I like Nordic themed characters, immersive environments and moral conundrums that leave few ‘right’ answers. I play devil’s advocate fairly well in my own humble opinion. If a game makes me uncomfortable or a surprised, I think it’s been an entertaining session. My musical taste is 50’s and 60’s rock and roll and classic county. Favorite TV shows are Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, and the Walking Dead, and surprisingly Allie McBeal (Don’t judge me, I like the short fucking skirts). I like horror movies, to be shocked and horrified. I have a cat named Oreo, who is apparently a couch goblin. Games on PC or console I’ve played are Fallout, Skyrim, Doom, CoD: Black ops 1 &2. I love spoilers.
