as per dragongate rulles: "Minions •Defined as summons, Eidolons, Animal Companions, Animated Dead, Animated Objects, Constructs, and any other creature, being, entity, or object that acts independently and therefore breaks action economy. •Familiars are not counted as minions for the sake of this ruling. •No character may have more than one minion active at any time."
what happen if a charcter gains a class ability to summon multipal creatures? also what if that character allready has an animal companion? does that ability get switched or traded for something else. or just nurfed?
is it possible when multipal summon is called for to get only one upgraded version?
let say a druid \soul drinker (soul drinker gain ability to summon 1-3 cacodaemon 1/day and 1-2 ceustodaemon 1/day later on) the 1st summon is not much of a problem since it is usaly used not in combat for ether invisible scouting or traping the souls of the dead after combat. so it can be active while the companion is inactive (thous keeping to the only oneactive rule).and rolling more then one on the 1-3 will result in maybe an upgraded version that can use it's traping ability more then 1\day and stay longer then 1 min \level.
my problem is what about the other summon ability. that 1-2 ceustodaemon are mostly used as meat shields \ shock troopers. having them off is a stirght out nerf to a class ability but even getting an upgraded version if you rolled 2 on the 1-2 dice you still end with more then one active minion counting your companion.
and this is from my class. im prtty sure there are other classes that gain multipal craeture summon ability.what does that changed to?

If you have the ability to summon multiple creatures, then all but one of those creatures fails to show up. The class feature doesn't change, it just fails to work. We have neither the time nor the desire to go through every single item/class feature/spell which grants multiple summons, and determine an alternate system for each one.
